Why does it even matter when she is getting a lot of mins? Having 1 or 3 great games doesn't mean you need to be a starter. Its working the way it is now. Maybe she does better off the bench.
On fire? She missed six consecutive field goals in Q4 and let Atlanta closed the gap. The FG% in the whole game is ok. She is not a good team player and plays hero ball all the time. If you have missed 3 field goals in a row, should you drive the lane or pass the ball to other teammate instead of shooting. She is not the whole team and other player can shoot as well.
Only piece missing from her game is being a TEAMMATE!! She is so concerned about trying to be the leading scorer that she misses wide open teammates over and over again!!! And that almost cost them the game tonight... 7 misses in a row in crunch time NEVER passing once the ball made it's way to her!!! As a coach, you just can't let that go unaddressed!!!! It will eventually lead to a fight and locker room issues!!! With her speed, she should be averaging 10ast a game because the defense has to collapse on her in the fast break... She just NEVER passes!!! That's the main reason the new fans won't give her high praise!! That's not good TEAM basketball

BUT Kelsey is an elite scorer and her speed and explosiveness gets her layups in transition and disecting defenses in the half court BEFORE help D can arrive. Usually these are not situations she should be passing out of and her finishing rate is solid and improving. Her shots down the stretch were in and out. Those were good looks by her standard and she took good shots that just missed. I'm not sure you tell an elite scorer to NOT take those shots and I don't recall them being early in the shot clock so the team did explore other options first. Kelsey isn't perfect but evolving quickly. Smith on the other hand is a BLACK HOLE. She brings many good qualities to the team BUT if she gets it in the paint ... It IS NOT COMING OUT! Since the allstart break Smith has moved the ball on the perimeter. This has been true of the whole team also. Kelsey is the third all time leading scorer in NCAA history and the leading scorer on a bad team for 7 years as a pro. That is 10 years of ME FIRST basketball and a compliment to her skill set, not a knock on her style. She is evolving with her new crew. She will be an Olympian in 4 years.
I think there is a way for Indiana to forcer her to remain another year, but for her, I think it's just a matter of what she wants to do. She might be wanting a change of scenery, or just to try something new and different. Now's the best time for her to try it.

Their offense seemed rather stagnant tonight. What happened to their fast pace? It didn’t feel like CC22 was allowed to run the offense the way they had been successfully playing in the past. Glad they won, but hopefully their offense picks back up on Wednesday.
It looked like they tried a few times, Temi showing to much rust from her time off. Missed some layups that she normally doesn’t miss. For some reason CC only shot 14 shots tonight, not including 3’s or free throws.
She is too selfish. She disrupts the flow always looking for her shot. 23 shots and 1 assist. She is averaging 1.9 per game the lowest in her career, Harden has 6.7 a game, Jordon had 5.4 a game as 2 guards. Luka put up 33.4 points a game and had 9.8 assists a game. She is trying to up her stock.
I like her higher release which helps to avoid blocks and assists with her shorter stature. She is able to make more athletic catches and shots as well, off of a transition sprint. It’s good stuff.
Caitlyn should have at least 16-20 shots per game! She is way too unselfish or being held back too much and giving away points to give assists to teammates that cant convert! Someone need to remind CC22 to be proactive in getting more shots or make a play for her to be open!
Christie has a voice at the end of the game. That' says to me that she is trusting them more and doesn't have to yell so much during the game. I take that as a great sign.
A win is a win. But the team must work on making layups and at playing solid defense. Clark needs to be more aggressive at taking shots while distributing. Hull needs to continue playing big minutes.

Hard-fought victory tonight for the Fever. I think they're still a couple players away (neither starting forward is that good) but they've improved a lot during the course of this season. Playoffs is almost ensured now, and that postseason experience will pay off down the line.
Yes. Did you know Erica wheeler makes over 200k, the same as any all star in the W? KLou at 177k and she plays six minutes. Easily get another good player there but she has another year. KM makes over 200k and everyone else under 90k. Teams next couple years will have lots of cap space to sign stars.

Great we got the W but I wasn't a fan of the TO call with 6.5secs left. I felt the better choice was for CC to just dribble out the clock and take the FT"S. She had nobody near her and could've ran at least 2-2.5secs off the clock and made it a two possession game. Again great W regardless.

She is too selfish. She disrupts the flow always looking for her shot. 23 shots and 1 assist. She is averaging 1.9 per game the lowest in her career, Harden has 6.7 a game, Jordon had 5.4 a game as 2 guards. Luka put up 33.4 points a game and had 9.8 assists a game. She is trying to up her stock.
I like her higher release which helps to avoid blocks and assists with her shorter stature. She is able to make more athletic catches and shots as well, off of a transition sprint. It’s good stuff.
Caitlyn should have at least 16-20 shots per game! She is way too unselfish or being held back too much and giving away points to give assists to teammates that cant convert! Someone need to remind CC22 to be proactive in getting more shots or make a play for her to be open!

A win is a win. But the team must work on making layups and at playing solid defense. Clark needs to be more aggressive at taking shots while distributing. Hull needs to continue playing big minutes.

Kelsey and Lexi great defense! Fever are lucky that Atlanta was missing so many wide open shots cause they could've walked away with that game. Two players with good defense isn’t enough going into the playoffs. Offense was exciting though . Congrats on the win.

Hard-fought victory tonight for the Fever. I think they're still a couple players away (neither starting forward is that good) but they've improved a lot during the course of this season. Playoffs is almost ensured now, and that postseason experience will pay off down the line.
Yes. Did you know Erica wheeler makes over 200k, the same as any all star in the W? KLou at 177k and she plays six minutes. Easily get another good player there but she has another year. KM makes over 200k and everyone else under 90k. Teams next couple years will have lots of cap space to sign stars.

I can think of at least 8 easy layups missed of CC's passes, unreal! She should have easily had 15 assists last night. Mitchell will shoot every time she gets the ball, you know that going in whether she's hot or cold and they allowed her to shoot rather than CC or Boston. Good win, but they'll need to make layups to go very far in the playoffs.

CC is basically alluding to the fact that the coaching sucks...."we can't sustain large leads" it's an indictment on Sides's coaching style

Great we got the W but I wasn't a fan of the TO call with 6.5secs left. I felt the better choice was for CC to just dribble out the clock and take the FT"S. She had nobody near her and could've ran at least 2-2.5secs off the clock and made it a two possession game. Again great W regardless.
