Better Than The Manistee River Trail! Camping On The Fife Lake Loop Michigan Backpacking Bushcraft

Started out with a plan to hike and camp the Manistee River trail but figured it would be too busy and didn’t wanna not get a good campsite. Last min change of plans took us north on the Manistee River up to the Fife Lake loop!
On the way home checked out the manistee river trail and it was basically the same views, but still super crowded on a Sunday! We made the right choice!

Ha ha, you guys stayed at the camp site. I wanted to, but the mosquitos chased me out. I went a little further and stayed at old us 131.
