That was a trip for sure!!! It was so great flying with you, I hope we can do it again soon. Great teams make great trips! Thanks for the shout out on the vlog 😊 Congrats to your Brother and Fiancé.
Chris!! We had such a great crew for that trip. And you rocked number one! Hope I get to fly with you again soon! And thanks again for the nerd clusters! I just finished my bag today 😂

Nice for your brother👍 Ugh, it is SUMMER TIME! It was 103 today (Sunday) in North Texas with 1,00,000 % humidity!!! 🥵 Stay safe and awesome in the sky young lady!!! 👍✌🤠✈
Well that would make sense why I didn’t recognize it. I don’t get too many Canada layovers. It was probably just left over from an inbound flight or something lol
Hanna!: A knit headband worn over your eyes to sleep darker. Feels good, too. ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon of baking soda (NOT baking powder!) dissolved in an ounce or two of water will get rid of acid reflux discomfort quickly.
I’ve never heard of the baking soda trick. I’ll have to try that next time. I usually have an eye mask in my bag, but I took it out before this trip because I usually don’t need it. I’ll have to throw it back in there for my next one
Hanna You can take a half teaspoon of baking soda in a half cup of water and that is the best solution for heartburn or acid reflux. You may like to try it. I am 84 years old and it works for me. Also a cup of tonic water is good for leg cramps. 🙏🤗💖
Bahahaha, poor Hannah and the sleep schedule. Literally what I went through in college and now I’m gonna cry when I head back and get only 4 hrs of sleep each day for the semester. Gotta love the polka dots weee at Indianapolis. Your time for bidding sounds like me when I have to go through updating devices for 2 hrs, a long process. Well I hope you finally catch up on your sleep because I never thought u would have to do a 4 day and wake at 2-3 am 😂 Love the doggies and congrats on your brother’s engagement. Great vlog Hannah as always!
The good ole college days lol. Unfortunately my body doesn’t bounce back so easily like it used to. Hopefully you can adjust to that better than me when you get back to school!
They can both be hectic just because there are so many extra people traveling/more flights. But I would say the summer is probably a little bit more crazy just because it’s a big block of heavy travel as opposed to holiday travel that’s usually 1-3 weeks worth (depending on the time of year). Thunderstorms are usually more of an issue in summer as well.
Great video Hannah! I really enjoyed this one. I know you guys are at a crossroads with your contract negotiations, but I am planning on flying your airline in early August ORD-PHX-PSP. I have not bought my ticket yet, I'm kind of waiting to see what is going to happen. Hopefully things will be settled soon.
I personally don’t think the company will allow it to go to a strike if we get released to, but we’ll see. We are in that waiting period as well. Hopefully things can get resolved here shortly!
I loathe melatonin as it makes me so groggy the next day after taking, yuck. I've noticed that hotels tend to sell out when trials are in town. That might explain your hotel placement. Flight attendants advise to use the hangars with clips to clip the curtains together to block out light. I use sleep masks, too. What does your doctor say about your acid reflux? I suspect the sausage isn't helping. Baking soda tastes awful but it does help.
I’ve heard others say that about melatonin. It doesn’t affect me that way, but I’ve heard magnesium is a better substitute, so I may try that once I run out of this bottle of melatonin. The acid reflux is a recent thing I’ve been dealing with, so I haven’t actually talked to my doctor yet, but I’m curious to know what has caused it to flare up.
Glad to see you hope the family is doing well take care, I can tell you a little irritated. Hang in there girl. When you on a long days do you get to dry clean your uniform on the road or carry another one ?
My hubs was diagnosed with GERD, but it turned out he actually has a gluten sensitivity. So, unless you are sure it is reflux, maybe get off gluten for a little while to make sure.
Barilla makes a good GF pasta. Bread is hard switch, though, since the gluten is so important. The hubs says it's worth it, though, to not have the pain at the top of his stomach. He had dealt with it for 20 years and then I made the connection. Gluten never came up in the conversations with his primary care doctor or the gastroenterologist!
Since I have a tattoo on my arm I have to keep the blazer or long sleeves on to cover it. But people without tattoos can do short sleeves as long as they have a vest on while in the terminal.
@@hannahsims3799 oh yeah because you're used to do it in right days as a flight attendant . When possible , please try . It will take yoy some benefits .
I am impressed with your dedication to devotions despite your busy schedules.
That’s something I’ve been working on over the years. Definitely a priority to get that in daily!
Sending a note to their parents on your friends' birthdays, who died, could comfort them.
That’s a great idea. Thanks!

lol that's Canadian water! it's in my hotel rooms when I have overnights in YYZ. so funny that DFW catering would have that.

That TSA line looked crazy. The one time I went to Chicago for a trip, I don't think O'hear's TSA was that bad.
That’s the longest I’ve ever seen it in Charlotte. I was shocked
That was a great video.. thanks for sharing..
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Great vlog, Hannah. Congratulations to your brother, i think, on his engagement.

A few other people mentioned baking soda. I hadn’t heard of that before so I’ll have to remember that for next time! Thanks!
Great to see your smiling face. Hope you're going well with all the summer flying. We have been hearing that you have had some crazy weather in usa
So far I’ve had pretty good luck! Hope I’m not jinxing it, but if the summer continues to go how it’s been for me then it won’t be too bad!
Congratulations to your brother and his new fiance!!! And your soon to be sister in law!!!

How exciting for your brother!!! 🎉 As a flight attendant is summer flying or holiday flying more hectic?
They can both be hectic just because there are so many extra people traveling/more flights. That was an early pick up time.
Sooo early!!!
Glad to see you hope the family is doing well take care, I can tell you a little irritated. Hang in there girl. When you on a long days do you get to dry clean your uniform on the road or carry another one ?
I usually bring a shirt and tights/socks for every day, but everything else I just reuse throughout the trip.
My hubs was diagnosed with GERD, but it turned out he actually has a gluten sensitivity. So, unless you are sure it is reflux, maybe get off gluten for a little while to make sure.
Oh interesting. I’ll have to look into that. I love my gluten though, so that will be tough
Barilla makes a good GF pasta. Bread is hard switch, though, since the gluten is so important. The hubs says it's worth it, though, to not have the pain at the top of his stomach. Great vlog I love your uniform did you wear tightss with it
I did. I always wear tights with the skirt even though it’s not required anymore. I feel it looks a little better with them than without.
I like the Vegas Airport since it is one of two airports in the U.S. with slot machines.
What’s the other airport? Reno?
Hannah,
You are correct that Reno is the only other major airport in the US with slot machines.
I like it because they sell Ethel M's!
Thankyou yet again for such an amazing flight attendant's perspective travel story! Do you still have to wear your blazer in 105 degrees heat?
Since I have a tattoo on my arm I have to keep the blazer or long sleeves on to cover it. But people without tattoos can do short sleeves as long as they have a vest on while in the terminal.
Hannah ! Tey to sleep better my dear 😆😆😆 this tittle made me rhink about it !
It’s so hard to get good sleep when I’m off my schedule. Just something you get used to after a while

Yea, I’ve stayed in some there on layovers that had casinos. This one did not
