    Thank you for the effort. As a BLS instructor, I'd advise to follow the below approach [6 steps];
    First; we must ensure scene safety. Always, your safety comes first.
    Second; we tap the shoulders of the patient. We don't shake patients!
    Third; if no response after tapping shoulders, we should check for pulse and breathing for no more than 10 seconds
    Fourth; after 10 seconds, no pulse no breathing (or gasping); we call for help, activate the emergency response in place and call for AED
    Fifth; Then we use the sequence of C-A-B; it is no longer A-B-C since 2010!
    We start with compression first and then we go open airway and give 3 breaths! (30 compressions : 2 ventialtions)
    Sixth; Once AED arrived, attach its pads to patient bare chest and follow instructions

    • @muhamedhoxha4938
      @muhamedhoxha4938 5 років тому +2

      very good! Thank you! The only correction is that you give 2 breaths instead of 3.

    • @cksheng
      @cksheng 5 років тому +1

      Yes. It is a bit confusing in this video when they mentioned that it is A-B-C sequence. But the "B" in the video is only to check for regular breathing as a sign of life (together pulse). They did not show rescue breathing before performing chest compression (only check for presence of breathing). Having said that, I agree with you, it is a bit confusing. It should be clearly stated that it is CAB, not ABC.

      What I was surprised to learn was how common it was for ribs to break during cpr. Wish my instructor had told me that, had I ever had to use it and broke a rib I would have stopped, thinking I had done something wrong.

    • @theCPRgals
      @theCPRgals Рік тому

      CAB is ONLY for witnessed attacks.
      If the event is Not Witnessed, ABC is correct.
      After 4 to 5 minutes without O2, the brain begins to die
      due to lack of oxygen, so Breathing Is Crucial.

    • @BokJock
      @BokJock Рік тому +1

      It is still DR ABC in the UK. This is as advised by the Resuscitation Council of the UK.
      If not breathing normally or not breathing, and unresponsive, then CPR should be started after activating EMS and requesting an AED where appropriate.
      The sequence of breaths to compressions depends on whether the patient is an adult, child, or infant.
      Adult = 30 compressions (2 hands, 5-6cm, 100-120 p/min) / 2 breaths;
      Child = 5 breaths then 30 compressions (1 hand, 1/3 chest depth, 100-120 p/min) / 2 breaths;
      Infant = 5 breaths then 30 compressions (2 fingers, 1/3 chest depth, 100-120 p/min) / 2 breaths

      The ABC of CPR still applies (meaning to check the Airway -Breathing -Circulation). However the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines were updated in 2015 to 'DRs ABC' which means the process of checks now includes: Danger -Response -Shout for Help -Airway -Breathing -Circulation.

    Eğer cevap yoksa S: yardım için bağırın. Her yardım faydalı olacaktır. Sonra A: hava yolu (kanalı). Kafayı bu şekilde yatırın. Ve hava yolunu açın.B: nefes. Bakın, dinleyin ve hissedin. (Nefesi) normal göğüs hareketleri için bakının. Nefes alıp verme seslerini dinleyin ve yüzünüze çarpacak nefesi hissedin. Bunu sadece on saniye yapın. Eğer hala nefes yoksa ya da alışılmadık biçimde sesli nefes alıp verme varsa o zaman kalp masajı zamanıdır.

      This is a CPR video. Which shows what to do in the event of cardiopulmonary arrest until the ambulance arrives.
      In the very unlikely event that the person starts to breath normally (& you need to be sure that they are breathing normally). Do not leave them you need to stay with them till the ambulance arrives. Do not give them anything to drink. If they are unconscious they should be placed in the recovery position but only if it is safe to do so (no suspected neck or spinal injury). I have attached a link to show how to place a person in the recovery position. www.nhs.uk/conditions/first-aid/recovery-position/
      They still need to be monitored for any changes in their breathing and circulation. If they stop breathing or breathing becomes abnormal and/or no evidence of circulation they need to be placed flat on their back and the Dr’s CPR sequence restarted. All the time making sure that the ambulance has been called and is on its way. Many countries run good CPR and First Aid courses if you are interested in learning more. Some courses might even be free.
