From Jamaica same issue it updated froze and power completely gone no charging sign or life
Same thing with my phone which is only 7mths I was given the conncet to Dimond which in in LA ROMAIN I live in PORT OF SPAIN / I wish I could get it repaired....I am afraid to go back to this BRAND

I have been affected after 2 weeks of trying not to let my phone go dead, it caught up to me and eventually it died while i was watching some youtube videos and fell asleep on it and since thursday 23rd may to now it cant start back up. So now i have to go to a samsung dealer at the mall to get it sorted out hoping i dont lose my stuff.
Same happened to my phone. Contacted Samsung who refused to acknowledge there was a problem despite the thousands of users from across the world report the exact same issue. I was told that since my phone was out of warranty I would have to pay to get it repaired. So Samsung brick my phone and I have to pay to repair it!! I see a class action lawsuit coming and I want to sign up for it.
Hi,I received an update then one week later I restarted my Samsung A23 and up to this day it has not come back on,I take it to be fixed and was told he try but it did not come back on. I bought my phone only 1 year ago..We need answers from Samsung

My samsung A23 I put it off on May 3 and It never came back on ,only to a message from samsung 3 week later ask me to bring my phone into samsung repair center 🇱🇨
I updated my phone the only thing happen was that the charger that came with it stopped charging it ,it was saying connectivity something of the other so i just used another charger to charge it today it just shut off nothing no matter what i did it wont come on i call my phone technician and that's when he told me that there is nothing that can be done the phone is dead just ghosted me no hint soi could have tried to save my info nothing . i am in JAMAICA and i am pissed
I have a Samsung A23 and my phone is also a paper weight, Samsung should take notice of this issue and recall and replace affected devices. I’m from Trinidad.
The battery for my A23 ran out of power then i tried to charge it. It won't charge at all. I received a warning notice earlier in the morning from Samsung about an issue with the device but the battery died while in use.

Happened to me. From Trinidad also.
Just heard that Samsung is sending representatives to their 2 repair centers in Trinidad Diamond systems and R&J to have the device’s repaired for free, but R&J was charging ppl $150 to do the repairs. But with the free repairs if they find water damage your device willl not be repaired, which you know that’s the first thing most repair centers tell u when you take back a phone within warranty to them. I hope Samsung sends some one dedicated to over see this.
Wow wonder if mines would shut down now ... Did an update about a week ago and still running although got a notification today not to restart my device 😢

Yes this has happened to me and they said because mine in an international version it's not covered in Australia so I would need to pay to fix

Happened to me in the United States. Although I do have an international phone.
I live in Canada and purchased an international version A23 phone from a Walmart seller. It is completely dead after the most recent update.
I think all A23 phone users are having same problem, most likely those who updated their devices with recent security updates. Samsung needs to resolve this issue immediately so people can have access to their phone and stored data.
@@agnosticmanquestionsall2409 I've read many people's reviews and they all said that phone was perfectly working prior to receiving recent security updates and I strongly agree with them all, Samsung is ultimately responsible for this problem so it should have some courage to respond to this issue with solid solution so people can reuse their devices which have been heavily affected by latest update.
You should complain about it in the Samsung community, Samsung doesn't know this yet

It's happening to people here in Jamaica as well. I would advise everyone not to take your phone to any repair shop as yet because they don't have a fix for the problem.
The repair shops will find a way to charge you & they know they can't help you.🇯🇲

Easy fix, you'll have to open the back unless you have a special cable but I've fixed over 12 that came in.
What software and steps needed to get this fix .. I can open the phone
