What a great place to feature. Not many people know about the Aeolian Islands compared to other Mediterranean island groups. I've been only to Lipari. Those huge walls on the promontory above the town were built originally by the Crusaders when they held the islands but the way they look today was when they were reconstructed by Spain in the 1500s. That shot of Stromboli lit up with hot lava at night was fantastic.

@@swisssights That was such a fun spot! I would be great to scuba dive there to spend more time exploring. I don't remember much of a noise, i was too in the moment to notice, but maybe there was.
