Queen + Adam Lambert @ HMV Hammersmith Apollo, London 11/7/12

When Adam Lambert was announced as the front man for a few special one off shows with rock royalty Queen, debates began as to whether he could replace Freddie and that Queen shouldn't carry on etc etc and there was no need for it. Thanks for this! Great editing! And, yes, it has been MAGIC! I've only watched the ustreams here in CA, regretting that I couldn't be in the room to FEEL the magic firsthand--but some of it even seeps through the ether, it's THAT strong. I just hope they come to the States. I love Adam's own music so much (YAY Trespassing!)...but love Queen, too. And this pairing is full of WIN!

I was there. It was magic night indeed. Brian May and Adam Lambert is a musical marriage made in haven. They were so organic together!! But voice of AL is so powerful and perfect match to the music of Queen. Who has the range like that?! He is an alien from Planet Fierce!
