- We have news on the Upcoming Spawn film! This one has been in the works for quite some time, and it finally looks like things might be moving forward with both Todd McFarlane and Jason Blum confirming the title of the movie just this week! Here is what we know so far.

I like Fox, but I would like to see Idris Elba in a good Spawn Movie
I was 13 when the original came out and I thought it was great. In saying that I never read the Spawn comics. Always been a Wolverine man myself.
Honestly it’s just toned way down, less violent and less dark but the general pieces are there
My hopes are dwindling a little for this one. Michael Jai White should’ve been cast again if they’re going with someone his age. I hope they go with McFarlane’s original concept for this movie with Simmons’ killers being the protagonists and Spawn being an entity that’s hunting them, he specifically alluded to a kind of Paranormal Activity vibe.
Which, honestly, sounds like it would be awesome. We’ll see where this goes though…
According to McFarlane the script is done and they’re about to start looking for a director. He seems happy with the story so that’s good.
I agree on the casting. No offense to Foxx, he’s great but if they’re not going younger MJW was perfect
I've loved the Spawn comics since I was a kid in the 90s. The HBO Spawn was great I just wish they had kept going with it. The movie was good and bad at the Sametime. I was happy to see one of my favorite characters come to life in the movies, but it had problems. A new Spawn movie today might get destroyed I don't trust Hollywoke to stick to the original story plus that they would most likely use so much CGI that the story and characters would lose heart I've always liked a movie with a good mix of Practical effects and CGI. To create a movie like Spawn with the In depth, characters like the Spawn comics did would cost so much money plus great writers who know these comics and love them like so many real fans do that I doubt anything great could come out of this. We have also heard that a new Spawn movie was gonna come out for more than 10 years now 🙄 I hope I'm wrong and something great happens with Spawn.
My problem is blumhouse has said A LOT of shit that later I was baffled by.
I can't trust blumhouse..... and giving something the "blumhouse look" doesn't intrigue me

I’m just happy we’re finally getting another spawn movie. If they can make it strongly based on the comics, unlike marvels movies, I’ll be even happier
hbo made a adult cartoon out of it i may of be to young to watch it it has nudity in it but it was not my failt mom order hbo
When making a comic movie, just stick to the comics. Simple as that. If it's an R rated comic , then make it R rated.

I think it's better that Todd should just let Jason Blum find a director that he can trust with that can make a good script that follows the comics because we're all tired of waiting because Todd isn't a director he's a comic book writer and we can all imagine Todd struggling to direct a movie to be honest I do prefer Michael b Jordan because Jaime Foxx is almost in his 60s
