"Insurance payments will be excluded from the awarding of cash rebate on UOB One Card but will continue to be considered as eligible spend to earn bonus interest on UOB One Account"
I agree with the earlier comment. This is similar to scam , they don’t disclose all details for UOB one card, they just dump the card on you and chase you to activate it asap - very misleading.
Worst credit card !! UOB still owes me refund and don’t want to process although they promised they will. I made numerous calls and I just given up already. I wish “good luck” to UOB and also whoever choose UOB. YOU WILL REGRET
Hi Demi! Thanks for the video :) I just started using the UOB one card and paired it with the UOB one account. However, I do not see any interest cashback for my UOB one credit card on my statement. Is this because it is combined with my UOB one account monthly interest rebate? Or do I not receive any cashback if I use both UOB one card & account? Thank you!!
For EVOL, how would you hit your online spending every month? Seems quite hard unless you are frequently doing online shopping/grab/food delivery etc every month
Haha yes unless an individual does online shopping (shopee, lazada), or grabs around etc It's hard to hit, in the past I used to be able to because a lot of shops I frequent either accepts Shopback, Favepay or I'd be able to cab and get reimbursed. Not practical for someone if they can't hit the online spend. But if you're able to, its a great card!
hi demi, can you do a video for high spenders? I personally spend roughly 15k a month on social media marketing and propertyguru, what is the best card to use for the most returns?
Hey! Thanks for the video. I am using citi cashback credit card for my dining and groceries expensese (6%/8%),I would like to get another credit cars for all my other expense (which includes sp group utilities, flight tickets, etc). The minimum spending of 500$ should not be a problem. Do you think it makes sense to go for this one or do you see other credit cards that can me be more suitable to my situation? Thank you!
Hi, sorry im late this to this but I have the HSBC Miles Card that i use for about 1000$ spend every month, the rest which will be around 600$, I am looking for another card - my spend would be grab + shopee+ sp utility, you think I should go for this card?
Let say I applied an uob one credit card in March and made a 500 min. spend on the credit card. Would I able to receive uob one account bonus interest in Apr since I will only pay the credit card in Apr (correct me if I am wrong)?
The uob one savings account interest, $500 spending criteria is based on calendar spending, so if you opened in March and you spent $500 by 31st March and you have salary credited, then yes u have the interest in april.
@@DemiZhuang just chanced upon this video when i'm doing my own research on UOB ONE card! and have the same question, so does it mean that if every month i can hit $500, my savings will continue to get interest &/ cashback while my credit card will only get cashback every quarter?

Like what?
As usual, thanks Demi for another super detailed video😀Keep it up. Looking fwd to you next credit card video.
Thank you!! 🙂
Are shopee, grab purchases, utility bills etc included in the minimum spend?
Uob evol card excludes uob merchant for 600 min spending. Uob merchant contains cold storage, guardian and giant 😢 I shop there a lot
there's the UOB One Card for that! more cashback haha

The cashback usually comes in after the end of the quarter. Not monthly for this credit card.

Am I right to say that, for UOB one card only spend a maximum of $2000. Then use another form of payment if u want to spend more?
Yes! And u have to do it consecutively for the quarterly cashback
Is a very great video! Tks for your effort! 😊
Thank youu!!
@@DemiZhuang does it apply for UOB One Debit Card?
Hmm I’ll have to check.
It doesn't
hi demi, can you do a video for high spenders? I personally spend roughly 15k a month on social media marketing and propertyguru, what is the best card to use for the most returns?
hello, but these usually don't count for cashback unless you use an unlimited cashback card like uob absolute amex.
hi. thanks for the video. really helpful. but how about if we want to stop that UOB one card. is it any pros or cons
sorry I dont understand your question.

Yes I would think if you can consistently hit the quarterly spend.

Yes if u can be consistent w the spending
Sorry for this late query but are contactless payments at supermarket counted towards the uob evol spending please?
Yes! UOB EVOL only splits between mobile contactless and online. Take note has to by mobile ya. Not physical card paywave
Hi like to ask for UOB one min spent of $500, can the $500 spending be split across a few UOB cards?
uob one savings account interest you're talking about? then yes. for the uob one card alone? no!

Can uob one use at oversea country spending like japan?
Yes but bad rates.
So if I have alr spent 2k in a month, spending more at DFI merchants won’t give me more cashback?
If you haven’t hit the $100 cap cashback on the additional cashback merchants then you’ll continue receiving cashback!
Hi can you make a video about prudential credit card review ?
You’re referring to the prudential platinum from standard chartered?
@@DemiZhuang yes haha maybe can compare which is the best credit card to pay for insurance ?
Haha let me look into it! Thanks for letting me know what you wanna see!
Uob is the worse bank in asia. Shld close down
Hi...Demi can i have six credit cards account....Tq
what do u mean?
@DemiZhuang can have six bank credit cards account or not
Hey Demi thanks for the information, now i know which high interest saving account to get for myself.
Glad it helps!
Hello Demi, do you know if recurring gym membership and SingTel bills / telco can be counted as part of the min. Spending of $500 on UOB One card?
Hi, how to use/link uob one CC to grab to make transaction? since top up grab is not consider transaction.
Account -> payment method
@@DemiZhuangif like this, still able to earn the grab point? Even though I know 1.2% is very low.
