Wow thanks for showing this. Before I was born, my parents used to live in the building exactly opposite Rafi saab’s house. One day my dad gate crashed after arguing with the guard because he was a huge fan of Naushadji. My dad met both Naushadji and Rafi Saab. Rafi Saab was extremely down to earth and asked my dad whether he wanted something thanda (cold) to drink. My dad said ”Aapko dekh ke hi mera dil thanda ho gaya”. Rafi also said to my dad “So you are the one playing harmonium daily”. Apparently my dad used to play harmonium loudly with the hope of catching Rafi saab’s attention. There are many such stories.
Rafi's voice didn't give us just entertainment , he gave us peace , taught us how to fall in love ,how to express betab ,in short , how to live. Rafi Saab ,my hazar salutations to you .

I visited Farishta Rafi Sahabs house on 8th Aug. 2017...When I entered his music room I felt as if I am in some holy place. What a feeling it was. Looking at our beloved Rafi Sahabs photos...Music instruments..his awards...And all other things which he was using ...I became very emotional...There I met Rafi Sahabs younger daughter who is very humble like Rafi Sahab..Talking to her I felt like talking with Rafi Sahab only...Visiting Rafi Sahabs house and meeting his daughter...I have fulfilled one of my great wish. Love seeing Rafi Mansion. I know people are pushing for the Indian government to bestow the Bharat Ratna, but I don't think he should be given this award. His own son said that Mohammed Rafi won the Padma Shri (1967) that he did receive his dues. I agree. Please do not fight over this. Remember Mohammed Rafi was also bestowed the award of Singer of the Millennium & "Baharon Phool Barsao" I believe was the most popular song of Rafi Saab. There are only so many awards 🥇 🏆 you can give these artists.

What you have shown is really remarkable.I always regard him as God of Music. Not only as a singer but as a human-being. He was a noble soul. His sincerity and generosity reflected in his voice. I feel extremely happy that even though it"s been over thirty years since he left us, but the numbers of his followers is increasing day by day.He is an unreachable milestone. i am short of words but I want to express more about him. The people from the music world would always remain in debt to him for his versatile singing and the path he has shown to the coming generations. I shall be grateful if some of his unseen videos can be arranged, because the more you see him, the more you love him. Still the lust to see him does not vanish.

This is the lifetime work of this great man. No insurance can cover for this. Shame that he was not buried in a place where his grave could have been kept for ever, not for any religious purpose but for memory.

Wow thanks for showing this. Before I was born, my parents used to live in the building exactly opposite Rafi saab’s house. One day my dad gate crashed after arguing with the guard because he was a huge fan of Naushadji. My dad met both Naushadji and Rafi Saab. Rafi Saab was extremely down to earth and asked my dad whether he wanted something thanda (cold) to drink. My dad said ”Aapko dekh ke hi mera dil thanda ho gaya”. Rafi also said to my dad “So you are the one playing harmonium daily”. Apparently my dad used to play harmonium loudly with the hope of catching Rafi saab’s attention.
There are many such stories.

I visited Farishta Rafi Sahabs house on 8th Aug. 2017...When I entered his music room I felt as if I am in some holy place. What a feeling it was. Looking at our beloved Rafi Sahabs photos...Music instruments..his awards...And all other things which he was using ...I became very emotional...There I met Rafi Sahabs younger daughter who is very humble like Rafi Sahab..Talking to her I felt like talking with Rafi Sahab only...Visiting Rafi Sahabs house and meeting his daughter...I have fulfilled one of my great wish. I wish all the best to Rafi Sahabs family. and I salute our beloved Rafi Sahab...

Love seeing Rafi Mansion. I know people are pushing for the Indian government to bestow the Bharat Ratna, but I don't think he should be given this award. His own son said that Mohammed Rafi won the Padma Shri (1967) that he did receive his dues. I agree. Please do not fight over this. Remember Mohammed Rafi was also bestowed the award of Singer of the Millennium & "Baharon Phool Barsao" I believe was the most popular song of Rafi Saab. There are only so many awards 🥇 🏆 you can give these artists.

What you have shown is really remarkable.I always regard him as God of Music. Not only as a singer but as a human-being. He was a noble soul. His sincerity and generosity reflected in his voice. I feel extremely happy that even though it"s been over thirty years since he left us, but the numbers of his followers is increasing day by day.He is an unreachable milestone. i am short of words but I want to express more about him. The people from the music world would always remain in debt to him for his versatile singing and the path he has shown to the coming generations. I shall be grateful if some of his unseen videos can be arranged, because the more you see him, the more you love him. Still the lust to see him does not vanish.

Thank you. This is very valuable piece of video. This mansion is special and the feelings inside it must be really out of this world. It should not be tampered with and should be kept like fort knox. This is the lifetime work of this great man. No insurance can cover for this. Shame that he was not buried in a place where his grave could have been kept for ever, not for any religious purpose but for memory.
