This song is also such a bop. aespa's lore is really interesting and high quality; they have 3 SMCU episodes out so far, which are part of their lore. Typical of an SM group, their strength is their vocals! A few answers to some questions. Yes on Karina being the blonde that you asked about in the beginning, you also identified Winter correctly. Ningning (main vocal) is the one with her hair up that Han said was stunning (no lie there) & Giselle is the 4th member. They are lore heavy from what I understand but others will know a LOT more about that than me because as with most groups I tend to enjoy the music, their personalities & the dynamic of the girls & just don’t have the patience or brain space to dig into lore. Aespa is honestly one of the most talented groups in this next generation of K-pop groups by far. They have top-notch vocal powerhouses NingNing and Winter, a very talented main dancer Karina who only gets better each comeback, and a skilled main rapper Giselle. Not only are they each good in their own areas of expertise, but they're all-around good vocalists. Giselle has choir experience and Karina has even shown some very promising vocals and adlibs in their recordings and live stages. In this video, these are the members.... Karina: blonde Winter: mid-length hair tucked behind one ear Giselle: long black hair NingNing: hair in the bun IMO...the entire first half of the video is a foreshadowing of the ending. We first see things from the outside perspective watching the girls. Later on, we are shown the perspective from the girl's point of view. Naevis is calling to them to meet her in the woods, but the girls are unaware of what is drawing them to this specific place. All each of them knows, is that they are seeing some strange orb floating here and there. Not telling each other because they think it's just them. The video starts off with a dream Winter is having in the forest, which we later learn, is the exact same forest and time of night they meet Naevis but without the floating orbs. Giselle puts down a painting/drawing she has been working on, which we also find out later on, is the exact same forest and time they meet Naevis but this time without the girls. Karina puts her phone down but picks it up later, just to find out Naevis was influencing her to do so to follow her plan to bring them all together. After this, the girls decide to go on a trip and Winter notices the glowing orb above the city; informing us that Naevis is there and wants them to go. Naevis reaches out to NingNing during the drive and as they arrive to show that they are in the right place and to keep going. We're also given the POV of Naevis throughout the MV as she is floating through the grass and forest waiting for the girls, giving them glimpses of landmarks to find. In the end, we finally see the real world which the girls were seeing in Winter's dream. A magical forest in which they meet the one person they didn't know they were looking for. Naevis reveals herself when the time is right and the girls begin a new adventure. I MAY BE WRONG...but this is my take on the MV.....let me know what you guys think! they are starting a new storyline in the REAL WORLD (MY world) with this comeback. everything they released before was part of the 'black mamba' storyline that came to an end with their last release and episode #3 of their SMCU lore videos.
"Welcome to my world" by Aespa is actually a journey into the world of Naevis. That's why the atmosphere of the music video feels a little strange and eerie to some people. However, in the music video for "I'm Unhappy," I think it's actually Naevis's memories, possibly related to school violence, and it calls for people to pay attention to mental health. Especially when Karina swallows pills and the girls want to desperately escape the darkness behind them, it may be an attempt to make people understand how terrible the memories of school violence can be for victims. So in "Welcome to my world," there are various memories, including "Salty & Sweet," "Spicy," and others that give a mixed feeling. Naevis's experiences are complex and the information is vast, like the endless forest in the movie, giving a sense of being swallowed up. But I'm still particularly happy because in the past, we mostly only saw discussions about social issues in Red Velvet's music videos. Now, SM is boldly expressing these concepts in Aespa's music videos, which is a great thing that helps the group increase their influence. I am very much looking forward to this album!

From what I can put together, they’re basically kinda trapped in their lore’s version of the Matrix for this video. Normally their whole deal is being like cyber warriors fighting off some sort of evil, but here they’re in some sort of simulation of a “real” world. This was exciting for their fandom because it’s pretty much the only chance they’ll see aespa in a real setting rather than in some wild Tron universe like their other videos (which are also cool, don’t get me wrong). They all look amazing and the song is very cool, has soundtrack vibes

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES! Y'all the fact that I'm a month late I am so sorry about that I've just been so busy lately BUT in here now to let you know that I LOVE AESPA SO MUCH! Dude when I saw Black Mamba (the first time I heard and saw them) I was legit STUNNED, I would give you a full description of all of them but you guys already know them probably so that would make no sense. But I will say this might be one of my favorites from them it's so simple but so good- Karina with the blonde hair had me choking I was not ready to see her with that hair and her Vocals are so beautiful my gosh, Giselle is so underrated (I wish we got more of her though) she legit has gorgeous vocals and her rap is always insane, Winter like you said Kess is stunning and her Vocals are WOW (also at 2:50 Kess saw that it was cute and funny we love WinRina to be honest we love all of their relationships so cute), and Ningning with the bun YES she's BEAUTIFUL (to be Honest when I first saw her she kind of looked like Jennie from Blackpink) and her Vocals are AMAZING one of the best in 4th Gen. All of their Vocals are PHENOMENAL as you can see they aren't as good as Red Velvet or Girls Generation at least not yet but they are up there- also at 5:40 y'alls reaction was amazing and don't worry you'll get to know about it soon (you probably already know)! My Theory : It's all connected. At first girls thought naevis is dead but soon got some hints in the mv "welcome to my world" n searched for her n then found her. The lore for this video at least. In the last SMCU vid. Aespa defeated the enemy (black mamba) which controlled all of the digital world. So they basically went back to their own real world but naevis seems to be in the real too. It’s kinda hard to explain lol But I suggest you watch the SMCU videos in order, they will explain their lore ALOT better than I did. And ofc the music videos as well, since they incorporate a lot of the lore and story telling in them as well.

Tbh I find the easiest way to sum up Aespa's lore is that it's basically The Matrix. Parallel digital/real world, nothing is as it seems, their songs are often about them being stuck between worlds etc.
The light orbs they see in this music video that drives them to the middle of a forest to meet the birth of naevis in the real world is a contrasting parallel to the goblin fire in ILLUSION that lures them to see the seed of evil (and its first form Black mamba) in kwangya. It is in a way a spiritual experience that represents the duality of humankind and, in a certain way, the Artificial intelligence that is birthed from the collective thought process of mankind is also dual in nature.

"Welcome to my world" by Aespa is actually a journey into the world of Naevis. That's why the atmosphere of the music video feels a little strange and eerie to some people. However, in the music video for "I'm Unhappy," I think it's actually Naevis's memories, possibly related to school violence, and it calls for people to pay attention to mental health. Especially when Karina swallows pills and the girls want to desperately escape the darkness behind them, it may be an attempt to make people understand how terrible the memories of school violence can be for victims. So in "Welcome to my world," there are various memories, including "Salty & Sweet," "Spicy," and others that give a mixed feeling. Naevis's experiences are complex and the information is vast, like the endless forest in the movie, giving a sense of being swallowed up. But I'm still particularly happy because in the past, we mostly only saw discussions about social issues in Red Velvet's music videos. Now, SM is boldly expressing these concepts in Aespa's music videos, which is a great thing that helps the group increase their influence. I am very much looking forward to this album!

this comeback solidified my interest in aespa too, the song was so good! you should start from the beginning to understand their lore and everything.
From what I can put together, they’re basically kinda trapped in their lore’s version of the Matrix for this video. Normally their whole deal is being like cyber warriors fighting off some sort of evil, but here they’re in some sort of simulation of a “real” world.
This was exciting for their fandom because it’s pretty much the only chance they’ll see aespa in a real setting rather than in some wild Tron universe like their other videos (which are also cool, don’t get me wrong).

If you're doing a deep dive it's going to take a lot of effort to learn the lore but once you get it, you'll see everything in the lyrics and all their videos falling in to place like a perfect puzzle.

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES! Y'all the fact that I'm a month late I am so sorry about that I've just been so busy lately BUT in here now to let you know that I LOVE AESPA SO MUCH! Dude when I saw Black Mamba (the first time I heard and saw them) I was legit STUNNED, I would give you a full description of all of them but you guys already know them probably so that would make no sense. But I will say this might be one of my favorites from them it's so simple but so good- Karina with the blonde hair had me choking I was not ready to see her with that hair and her Vocals are so beautiful my gosh, Giselle is so underrated (I wish we got more of her though) she legit has gorgeous vocals and her rap is always insane, Winter like you said Kess is stunning and her Vocals are WOW (also at 2:50 Kess saw that it was cute and funny we love WinRina to be honest we love all of their relationships so cute), and Ningning with the bun YES she's BEAUTIFUL (to be Honest when I first saw her she kind of looked like Jennie from Blackpink) and her Vocals are AMAZING one of the best in 4th Gen. All of their Vocals are PHENOMENAL as you can see they aren't as good as Red Velvet or Girls Generation at least not yet but they are up there- also at 5:40 y'alls reaction was amazing and don't worry you'll get to know about it soon (you probably already know)! It's all connected. At first girls thought naevis is dead but soon got some hints in the mv "welcome to my world" n searched for her n then found her. They just released a track vid " I'm unhappy" n in that aespa are treated so different maybe becuz people might think they changed after coming from kwangya. The whole cinematography is chef kiss 🔥🔥🔥

The lore for this video at least. In the last SMCU vid. Aespa defeated the enemy (black mamba) which controlled all of the digital world.
So they basically went back to their own real world but naevis seems to be in the real too. It’s kinda hard to explain lol
But I suggest you watch the SMCU videos in order, they will explain their lore ALOT better than I did. And ofc the music videos as well, since they incorporate a lot of the lore and story telling in them as well.

Tbh I find the easiest way to sum up Aespa's lore is that it's basically The Matrix. Parallel digital/real world, nothing is as it seems, their songs are often about them being stuck between worlds etc.

The light orbs they see in this music video that drives them to the middle of a forest to meet the birth of naevis in the real world is a contrasting parallel to the goblin fire in ILLUSION that lures them to see the seed of evil (and its first form Black mamba) in kwangya. It is in a way a spiritual experience that represents the duality of humankind and, in a certain way, the Artificial intelligence that is birthed from the collective thought process of mankind is also dual in nature.
