Crown of Thorns on Jesus' head; when you were describing that how it would have felt for our Lord, I believe that, a Rhema from the Lord. because Pastor you were so humble that you did not said that "Lord told me" it was so personal to you and you described in such a way and same was stricken in our hearts deeply " Humiliation more than the Pain" as we were listing to the sermon. Dear Sharon Angel. I have never told that we need to break the curse. I have never told that it will not go once you got saved. If the curse wouldn't go during salvation, then our new birth is in vain. So please check it out. May be you heard someone else and thought it was me. Many blessings.

There is a thorn plant called Euphorbia milii which belongs to the spurge family of Euphorbiaceae. This plant is indigenous to Madagascar. This plant is called "the Crown of Thorns' but has nothing to do with the thorns on the crown of Jesus. The real plant they used is called Acanthus spinosus which is very sharp, and is surrounded by flowers. Remember that the soldiers did that to humiliate Jesus and so they draped a crown.

Pastor, you said that fire represents Holy spirit. But the verse Luke 3 16 says He will baptize you with the Holy spirit and with fire.
The explanation for the above verse is given in the next verse. (Verse 3: 17)
So please could you clear my doubt y u as are saying fire represents Holy Spirit pastor. ??Thank you.
Thank you for your question. In my teachings. I explain very clearly that symbols, signs, allegories, parables are to be interpreted relatively according to the given context. Thus, an element could mean something in one place and something else in another. For example, 'White Horse' in Revelation 6 carries the representative of antichrist and the 'white horse' in Revelation 19 carries Jesus. So, 'white horse' could not be interpreted in a same manner all the time. Likewise, fire sometimes represents judgment, sometimes the presence of the Lord, sometimes destruction, sometimes the anointing of the Holy Spirit and sometimes the Holy Spirit Himself. Yes, Luke 3:16-17 shows the anointing of the Holy Spirit as fire. Many blessings.
