years long i am installed oldskool promod pack. when oldskool flamed in stream and wot a member of my clan, because my clanmate killed him, I am changed to WGMOD Essentials and use it now over 1 year.
Big one your missing is the server reticle overlay. it's how server reticle used to be in the game in the beta. It's even more usefull if you have high ping.
I am from Australia and sometimes to get quick games I play on the Hong Kong server, ping is normally around 130. The server reticle mod is a big help to not rush shots and to make sure they count.
I haven't been using mods because I figured it wasn't worth bothering to keep an updated modpack, since Wargaming has incorporated most of the important ones into the vanilla game. But honestly I'm baffled by why they haven't already done that with destroyed tank markers on the minimap. And why they didn't add free camera to the garage years ago, given that they model stuff that can't possibly be seen without using a free camera mod. Though what Wargaming *really* needs to add in the garage is an armor viewer. We shouldn't need to rely on a third-party site for that.
There is no chance they will give us their Armor model and freecamera. It would be dangerous (bot programs, more understanding of how the entire WoT code works....) I understand that. btw Sahm Lockhart was using some russian mod inspector in garage. was working great
Maybe as a 3D artist I can shed some light There's also the matter of how levels are put together. For all intents and purposes this could have been a failed map, so why not. The garage being up in the air is just a simple matter of efficiency in the game engine and level loading, why load two levels when you can have two zones in the same level. As for modelling things you couldn't see otherwise, that's because the assets are modelled before a fixed angle is set, maybe the default position was different and you could have seen them before. There's a lot of work going into environment art, hopefully this answers some questions :)
The funny thing is that the destroyed vehicle thing is already in the game in World of Warships for ages, so I really dont see why they dont do it in World of Tanks too

I really like the "show tank in sniper mode" Makes it cool, and in open turreted tds, you can see the internals better. Some tanks dont work as well tho, especially ones with really long guns (skorp)
I also use Aslain. My mod list: Vehicle Contour Icons - Hawg; PMOD - Disable gun shake, disable red flash, scope shadow remover; Crosshair - Armored Warfare, Spotted Extended Light, Colored Damage Stickers v1; Hide Dog Tags, Final Shot, Disable Stun Sound Effect, Textrure: Skins on destroyed vehicles (beige tank/tracks), MOE v3 (same for all nations), Minimap spots with SPG-TD-Scouts
The zoom mod is nice too, lets you zoom out much further than the in game commander's view. It's allows you have a god like view of the battlefield and plan accordingly.
I use all those but one, and one exception: - Hangman mod I dont use, but it is kinda cool - Marks of Excellence mod, I use the "Extended" instead. Another one I use for minimap is making the grid numbers/letters more visible.
im speaking out of experience that depth of field gives more fps problems than turning it off. i tested it in many different games and its always the same
Nice of you to Showcase Aslain he has a great collection in his modpack, been using them for some years now. I never liked the new gunsounds that came in a couple of years back on my PC some of the smaller guns are almost just a click. So I got some better ones now all my tanks sound like they are using a cannon rather than an air rifle. Battle hits viewer I use and also the art hits log as I find its usefull to see in reality what effect they are having on my games Chamged my reticle added a sound to my sixth sense activation and thats about it I think.
making your own garage is very interesting lol Try using arty's extreme gun elevation to make a garage position and see whether all the tanks get a visual bug where all their guns point as high up as arty lol
Great video was searching for this for a while and found what i am looking for. May be the reason for the gun not raised on new hanger is those other tanks doesnt have enough gun depression values...
Battlehits is the best, sometimes you just need to find that info - and what you find will facepalm you to death :D T95 is the best for this, those frontal track penetrations will surprise you in their own convoluted way
IMHO extremly very usefull is BalCalcMod from same pack - if you have framed lets say weakspot in some distance, and hold F/Q, it will lock the distance and you can so shoot exactly same spot even if the tank becomes hidden. otherwise, if you dont do so, after the tank becomes hidden, the calculation of trace of the shell will be set as if you were shooting to the next spot on the ground that is in the cursor direction and the shell will go mostly more up
Aslains mod pack is great, but the only thing he still has yet to add to it is a better search feature, I dont want to have to keep manually scrolling through the entire list to reinstall all my mods when the game gets updated

This was a good one. I've used Aslain's mod pack for years but never really noticed some of these mods. I just added battle hit mod and replay manager. How have I managed without them so far?
Used to Solo's modpack for years and around the last three been using Aslain's both just as good as each other to be fair.. Aslain just tends to be a tad faster with the updates.. Still missing the auto camoflage mod though, pity it's EOL (hint)

8months already since i quitted playing WoT because i felt bad on the owner of the internet shop he changed the graphics card of the pc with WoT into very low quality graphics the screen freezes for 10 - 15 second.. i missed to play this game and yet i have many memorable moment playing this game since January 12,2011 i think..i remember my 1st time to registered and play this game during the Guinness World of Record that World of Tanks got..the owner of the shop has lots of freebies including free 500gold..
the autoaim mod in aslains pack is so fucking nice (no, its not cheating) , it makes it so you dont need to specifically rightclick on the tank you want to autoaim on , you just need to right click and hover over the tank for any time, even a split second and it will catch the autoaim on. :D

Only problem with server reticle(not game one-that is far to slow) is that can be annoying when you are turning your turret.

destroyed tanks is totally unnecessary, dont see a reason for wg to add it into the game

@Birk P yeah, that's the commander's view but it doesn't zoom out a lot, it's restricted, where as the mod isn't.

My bet as to why the AMX Foch did not have PP raised is because it couldnt match the required gun elevation angles required
all TD (not sure about turreted ones) doesn't even try to match the turret rotation and elevation of the gun.
The best mod for me is the fog and glare elimination mod. Everything else is for one-armed or beginners.

The only annoying thing is that it completely changes the markers for team and enemies, anyone know how to change it back to the standard ones?
