- The #JeepWrangler continues to be one of the most iconic American off-road vehicles in the world and when #Jeep introduced the #Wrangler392 as the insane factory-built V8 powered #Wrangler a couple years ago. They really raised the bar for stupid quick off-road SUV's. For 2024, the #Wrangler392FinalEdition is the sendoff to this V8-powered beast, but it looks like Jeep is planning to keep this engine around for another model year.

For those complaining about the price, do keep in mind this is an obvious collectors item and will likely be worth considerably more in the future. It’s not meant to be a daily driver. Just fyi
I think I'd rather gamble on the stock market or a guaranteed investment of some sort. $107k compounded over 5 years at 6% is $144,326. In 10 years you'd have $194,675, in 15 years you'd have $262,588, in 20 years $354,191. Is this collectible Jeep going to be worth $354,191 in 20 years? Nope.
So, $45,000 for a Wrangler. $60,000 for an engine upgrade? $60,000? It's not a hand built AMG engine.
My 24 392 none Final edition is doing 0 to 60 in 4.4 second all day long and the only different between mine and final edition is the Air compressor. I'm.not sure why you get only 5.4 second
as i know,.. fca is going to keep 392 for 1 more year for until end of year of 2025.
I hope they keep it around a lot longer! I'll want one once the prices normalize!

It'll be around for one more year (for 2025). My boss (I work for a Chevy/Jeep dealership) just sold his demo 2023, which was identical to this one, except for the fact that he opted for half doors with the Dual Door Group. His wasn't a Final Edition though. He will be ordering another one like it.
Can you ask him if the 2025 392s are gonna change in any way? Cause I’m debating wether to wait or just buy a 2024 one right now
@@Marcos-d1o Should be the same, maybe some different color choices. Price might be a bit higher as well. But now the 2024's aren't as "Special" due to not ACTUALLY being Final Editions.

I love my 2022 Wrangler 392, but the ride may be coming to an end, unfortunately. I’ve been having an ongoing issue with the transfer case. “Service 4WD” light comes on and wheels lock up when I do sharp turns or try uturns. It was an intermittent issue at first. I took it to the dealer a few times for the same issue. They fix it and a few weeks later the same problem starts. I feel that it’s time to get it fixed one last time and trade it in. She has just over 6K miles on her and I really love the 392, but at this point it’s spending as much time at the dealer as it is being driven. Not really sure yet what I’m going to do but for the first time I’m considering trading it in.
If the problem comes back, maybe try another dealer.
@@AStanton1966 I thought about doing that and I may actually do it if the problem comes back. I keep servicing it where I bought it thinking they may treat me and/or my vehicle a little better, and I thought that servicing it at one dealer would make it easier to gather documented repair information if I try and invoke the lemon law. Maybe going to a different service center would solve the problem OR prove that the problem persists even when repaired at another dealer. Might be a good strategy.
@@nycak4713 Sometimes it may help just to have a fresh pair of eyes look at something. It's annoying to buy something new and have issues with it.
@@nycak4713 I had to replace my entire engine on my Wrangler. The dealer told me it’s an on going issue with the V6’s. Gasket in the motor cause fuel to leak into the cylinder head causing damage to the internal components. Jeep is out of warranty and Chrysler told me to go fk myself.

I work @ the Wrangler assembly plant. I’m sad to see the 392 go since I am involved in the assembly of the standard hood. Rubicon, Sahara & 392 hoods are built @ another plant.
Will mean more standard hoods in the assembly process & more work for me.

You know I give Land Rover and Jaguar the business for being unreliable but you at least gain access to their dealer network which always seems to receive favorable reviews. I just can't see paying 100K for a vehicle and then having to deal with your typical Jeep dealership.
I drove a wrangler for the first time last year and I genuinely cannot understand how that name plate is still around. At least, I can't understand how they have sold so many. It rides rough and apparently suffers from something called the death wobble. Now if you've only seen the death wobble on social media, believe me, that doesn't do it any justice. If you don't expect it (which I didn't) it is such an unsettling feeling. And to make matters worse, it's not even a new issue. It's a KNOWN issue across multiple models which is CRAZY!

If you have to have this vehicle, be patient and just wait. Take for example the Grand Wagoneer which debuted over $100K fully loaded. You can find super low mileage ones for under $70k now. Jeep is doomed and sales are plummeting. Leadership for the company has basically taken the brand out of the US and doesn't care about loyalty anymore.

You can get a lot of used/near new things, like an S-Class Mercedes, or a G-Wagon, or Porsche Macan S/GTS or Cayenne S/GTS. It's laughable. It's a Jeep, not a damn luxury brand.

My friend has a very low mileage 2020 JL 4 door which has never seen snow/salted roads and there's *corrosion* all over it. The back door paint under the hinges is completely bubbled up, and some spots on the hood and other areas. WTF JEEP? It rides rough as shit too, like a damn truck, and the back doors are a squeeze to get in and out. Why do people buy these shitboxes? Porsche Macan GTS with air suspension for me thanks.

I couldn’t agree more. I love my 392 and I paid $94K all in, in 2022. Outrageous price but I wanted that V8. And now it’s even more expensive. Insanity. Prices of all cars need to come back down to earth. They’re outrageous.

The bad thing about any kind of a vehicle with a roof panel opening is that the seals and motors are just another thing to fail. When the seals dry out they leak water. When the motor fails out of warranty you get to pay for another one or not use that feature at all.

If they would’ve just thrown the 5.7 hemi in a jeep and sold it as an engine option on higher trims they would’ve sold like crazy. Premium fuel, lower tow capacity, and an emphasis on 0-60 times defeats the purpose of what makes a V8 jeep cool.
