It's often that they mostly help each other exclusively besides the entire team. Sure, one of the e-daters is carrying (gee, I wonder why, looking at you pocket sage), but this is a team game ffs.

I have played Valorant since Public launch and have seen edaters once or twice that too in swiftplay, I exclusively play unrated and compe and I rarely come across e daters, I do get people claiming they slept with my mother last night. So its really weird to me that Valorant main handle is pushing all this , I play in the APAC region.

This game was made great but it’s slowly corrupting because of it’s community and riot themselves. I love how you shine light on these topics, because the situation is awful.

I quit Valorant early-mid last year after playing for a couple years, and honestly am glad asf i got out when i did. All the issues that were present when i quit have just magnified 10 fold since then.
Stopped playing val around a year ago after I smashed my monitor because ranked, i realised that the game is not worth my time so i play cs 2 now

Started playing the game in january 2022, i was iron 1 0rr. i'm currently at immo 1 on the grind to radiant, glad westjett is here to ruin my day before going to sleep so i can wake up and trash talk the edaters in my lobby
I played this game during the beta after getting a key drop, and one time while playing, a girl asked me if we could be e-couples.

Same happens in league but its only egirl username and champs and you cant be sure since voice doesnt exist there.

i stopped in the middle of 2023 and my last match also had an ecouple

Thing is, I actually liked the game. I would still play if it wasn’t for edaters ruining the community. It’s because of them I stopped so I don’t say to people “I play valorant” and instantly lose friends.

I started playing Valorant around mid 2023 and I genuinely enjoy the game and hope to one day get to radiant, and it sucks this is the community that riot is building for a game I actually enjoy
I feel like if this keeps going like overprice skins shit updates and more similar horrible things, it will die with in few years 2/3 years

It honestly sucks because I joined the game around August of last year, and my intention with the game was (and still is) to get better, but there's so much garbage you have to deal with it's crazy. Getting into a lobby without at least one weirdo or troll or anything else is already so hard, so why do I gotta deal with other people's romance? Like, I'm just tryna grind, bro. Let me relax.

Val as a game is pretty ok, but the community just makes it so much worse. And Riot also doesn’t really help in that way because they just try to be this „trendy“ type of way for their reputation. Why the fuck else would the first couple you add be gay? Money. Riot is money hungry and they give no shits just think of a cool design, decide the rarity, pay people a few bucks to animate that shit then slap it on the market as overpriced as possible. Don’t get me wrong their marketing strategy is great with all the cinematics, the lore is also good but they dismiss the small features that make cs great, Valve doesn’t force, Valve doesn’t really care if i type the most horrendous thing in all chat to my enemys, i can rewatch my games, i‘m not forced to buy overpriced stuff , i can get a loadout full of skins for 1 Val skin. Anyway, only real problem in cs2 are cheaters but if that means not being around people with an ego of a fucking 5 year old, thats good with me. The thing is riot at the core tries to tell stories with their games, and it can lead to great media like arcane, so with character exploration and lore i dont see a problem
David nottingham does great things with developing the story for those who enjoy it, but i agree not all people will care since it is just an fps game fundementally

The actual game feels kinda stale. It's like a broken record with the same agents hogging the spotlight every match, leaving the rest of the roster feeling useless and niche. Waiting for new agents used to be exciting, but lately, they've been more of a letdown than anything. Fair, yes, but not fun. Look at League - every new champ is a blast to play, but Valorant's missing that spark. It's been four years, and they're not doing much to shake things up. Skins look cool, sure, but they're just surface-level nothing really transformative to the gameplay experience and they don’t have any sort of value. Ranking up each act? Not exactly thrilling. What's the point if there's nothing new or exciting to earn? I'm putting in time, effort, and money, but what am I really getting back? Riot, we don’t want a fucking gun buddy for our efforts. Think of a way to pay us back for playing your godforsaken game.
**Monetization and Game Interest:**
Valorant's got this fixation on competitiveness that's pushing players into this unhealthy obsession with the game. It's not how games should be. The way they're monetizing it and the lack of effort in keeping things fresh and interesting. Games should be about fun, not turning into a grind that feels more like a job. They need to rethink their approach.
**Community:**
Most of the community's cool, but there's a fair share of cringe. Kids, adults acting like kids, sweaty try-hards grinding ranks like it's the meaning of life, cringe E-daters, and a few genuinely chill folks. It's just a bit cringe overall.
**Conclusion:**
Honestly, Valorant's not the game it used to be, and it's kinda disappointing. Fun should come first, not this obsession with fairness and competitiveness. Games shouldn’t be miserable or make you feel like less than what you are. Prioritizing fun and satisfaction is key. The grind should be enjoyable, and there should definitely be a worthwhile payoff for putting in the effort. It's all about striking that balance for a positive gaming experience.
