Thank you, this was extremely helpful. I was having trouble really understanding the basics of strike and dip, but with this video (and a few of your other ones as well) I feel like i have a solid foundation
A strike has a bearing point. which means it goes in two directions along the surface of the earth running perpendicular with the dip.. so if the dip is west then the only direction the strike can travel are, N-S 30* dipping W. . dip is one compass direction. Why are your diagrams basic, and not in a block diagram. The videos is helpful but theres a few things, California has locked in, I'm no expert but I know my strikes and dips. CSUMB - Monterey Peninsula College, Devante M.
This video is one of my first, and indeed, in addition to the poor video and audio quality, my explanations were far from perfect and not as concise as they should have been. With that said, I'm fairly certain I did hit the big points you mentioned; I understand these concepts very well. The diagrams used were simply for the introductory-level demonstration I was aiming to give. Thanks for the feedback!
