Abyss has earned his respect as a legit monster, & one of the best big men in the business. He doesn't have to be Kane or Mankind, he's The Monster Abyss. The Black Hole Slam was way better than the Choke Slam.
Take that back. Chokeslams through tacks, tables, onto chairs, against steel cage walls, on the ring's edge, in a ramp, on the backstage. And i mean LEGITIMATE choke slams (the guy doing it does most of the effort on lifting the opponent's weight).

Impact really needs to step up their standards for monsters. Abyss is/was awesome, but kongo kong? Come on. WWE has plenty of things to shake your head at, but their track record for monsters is solid: Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Mark Henry, Braun Strowman, Brock Lesnar...

I know this was for abyss to get over kong but it seems all abyss has been doing recently is getting over new talent. Abyss is by far my fav impact wrestler and would love to see him get a great run- and the championship while they can and before he retires. Go on impact wrestling- give abyss a huge run soon!!! This was the passing of the torch from the legend Abyss to Kongo Kong. Im kinda ok with the idea since the man behind the mask is getting older and you can just see he isn't in the best of shape anymore. Love everything he has done for TNA!!!

I stopped watching long before that. I recently gave it a try again, and seeing wrestlers that I know are no longer there featured every week tells me that the promotion is in huge trouble. And this Kongo Kong looks like he should be in a wet t shirt contest for the shamefully deformed. Although, I am happy to see James Mitchell again.
