"Wait wouldn't be easier just to register everyone automatically?" "... Yes. It would be extremely easy." I feel like Trapp just looked into my soul there
Or you could take responsibility and register if it means so much to you. I mean it says a lot about you that you need college humour as a reminder to vote.....jus sayin :P
You know what's also totally lame 🙄 How minors age 17 or even 16 can pre-register to vote (automatically registering them when they turn 18 so they don't have to worry about not doing it in time) in California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, and D.C. It's super easy and can be done online, by mail, or at the DMV when you get your drivers license. Who cares about that? Definitely not people who turn 18 in 2020, the year of the next presidential election. *YAWN*
And even in states where you can't pre-register to vote, you can register to vote if you'll be 18 on or before election day, so you don't have to do it last minute.
@@f.i.r.e.5119 Sorry, I read your comment as "I believe people on both 50%s have lost their minds" and I was just like??? 50% + 50% = 100%??? Just misread it, pls ignore me
You should probably fix that. I'm sure my country's shitty politicians affect you more than your shitty politicians would effect me. But still, we're living in a global society here. Let's keep our rooms clean.
Honestly this is probably the most college-related CollegeHumor skit in a while since most of the people I know in college don't remember to vote, like ever.
t's almost like people in power are trying to keep voter turnout low to concentrate power in as few hands as possible, specifically based on location, social class and ethnic group.
In several states they introduced laws to "crack down on voter fraud" that if there are multiple people with the same name voting the same way they all get disqualified (to target people from cultures where a fewer names are extremely common like Mohammed and José ). Not to mention the far right goons that show up at the polls ostensibly to "prevent voter fraud" but are the same people who tell jokes about how they can't tell brown people apart. The right wing media created a boogeyman in this idea of voter fraud when in actuality the real threats to the democratic process (gerrymandering, corporate bribes for politicians, political advertisement money) are entirely legal and have a much bigger effect than individual acts of fraud ever could (even if it /was/ a problem) .
@@tillyqtillyq3750 there's more information than just your name when you vote, people who have the same identity are flagged and usually disqualified, and every culture suffers from having common names, John, Smith, Kyle, Brad, Michael, Karen, Emily, like literally every culture has popular or common names, that's the least thought out false argument ive ever heard
Seems like the American system is designed to have as few voters as possible and for each vote to mean as little as possible while technically still having some semblance of democracy.
jojag5 Voting is very easy in our country and every citizen can vote and there are numerous ways and laws that enable voting. Demographically different age groups and ethnicities tend to vote for certain parties. Democratic propaganda focuses heavily on young people and those that don’t have IDs (the poor, the criminal, and the aliens) because those groups tend to vote Democrat. They make it seem difficult when it is actually extremely easy, because they are targeting people that have never voted before. Republican propaganda focuses on the middle class. They don’t talk about changing voting rules much because it’s already so easy. The biggest change they want to make is ID verification. It’s completely logical to identify yourself in order to vote, but since those without IDs tend to vote Democrat it’s natural that both parties do or do not want it. I am a Republican in California a solid Democratic state. California is an all or nothing state meaning All votes go to the Democratic Party. My vote is literally meaningless, but the propaganda never mentions those rules. Both parties use gerrymandering by the way.
@@JGeMcL On the flip side of that you could argue that Republicans have no interest in changing voting laws because it already suits them, as does the Electoral College. In many ways voting itself is a partisan issue in the US since it favours conservatives. Voting in the US has several barriers that don't exist in most other nations. The more people that vote the better the election process. Adding/keeping barriers for voters makes the whole process worse.
jojag5 We have 2 barriers to voting that I can think of. 1. Age. Let's be honest here, children are stupid. We should never let them influence government. 2. You have to be a citizen of the country you are voting in. Which is obviously necessary. Because that's how countries work.
Savage Wolf You also have to be registered to vote (sometimes up to a month in advance of polling day). Polling day is not a holiday and employers aren't under legal obligation to let you leave for the purpose of voting. Those two things alone are major barriers towards voting. As for point about ensuring smaller states aren't underrepresented, that opens a whole new can of worms regarding the Electoral College. Sufficed to say, I'm not a fan of that process either.
The american voting system is just crazy. Here in germany ALL votings are always on sundays. Always. And you can always vote by mail. Every german citizen gets a mail and there they find everything they need to vote by mail. And there is also the slip you need to vote. But worry not if your mail didnt reach you on time (usually you get it two weeks beforehand) if you already know where you will have to vote, your IDcard can be just as valid, even if you forget your voting slip. And then you directly vote the party and your favorite candidate. And each and every vote counts, meaning if 1000 people vote one party and 500 vote another party, the country would be ruled by 75% one party and 25% another party. But since we dont have a two party system it gets distributed alot and in the end two or three parties work together to get over 50% in the senate and are able to pretty much govern the country. Well as long as all members of that party agree to whatever they want to do. And the other half of the senate is also allowed to vote and can also do alot. I know we germans are alot more crazy with our crazy voting system were total votes count and you actually have all day to vote and can vote however you like to and everyone who is a citizen and over 18 is automatically eligable
The biggest issue with the US is that it’s so large, with so many states and so many people with different origins, is that we rarely can agree on one thing, unless it’s Pearl Harbor, then we become very unified and VERY grumpy. Considering that you’re German, you may not spent too much time learning about how the US was formed. And I understand if you haven’t because we barely talk about other countries until World History unless it’s about a war we were part of, they pillaged/discovered the Americas, are a major trade partner, and.......I think that’s about it. So with that, I’m going to give you an oversimplified version of what went on when they wrote our constitution: Large states: We should have a single house legislature where the legislators voted are based on population. Small states: What? No! That’ll give you all the power, so it should be 1 state = 1 legislator. *A few months of bickering later* Connecticut: How about we combine both ideas, with a bicameral legislature where one is based on population and the other is 1 state = 2 legislators. Every other state: Yea that sounds good. The issue with our presidential voting system is that it’s a mix between both 1 person = 1 vote and 1 state = 1 vote, making it controversial to a degree. If we ever get it changed it will likely have to work like Congress and be a two pronged approach, otherwise the other party would shoot it down from becoming an Amendment. As for the registering to vote part, as the video says, it varies from state to state, as our constitution permits that, and another amendment would have to be proposed and passed (which is long and tedious) for that to be changed nationwide. TL;DR: We hate each other and we can’t agree on almost anything, wanting for it to be our way or the highway, unless someone smart just goes “Why don’t we combine the ideas and compromise” and a lot of people go “ohhh yeeaaa, that’ll work. Why didn’t I think of that?” Along with that, the states have a lot of powers that the federal gov’t doesn’t and amendments are slow to pass.
@@codylgarcia you know. Not everyone is as uneducated as US americans. First of all in school I have learned alot about other countries. Also i do have a high school diploma which I obtained in the US obviously. And lastly your comment just doesnt make Sense at all. The german System also is not built upon unity that is why in like the past 40 years we did not have just one Party wird over 50% votes. The american System just doesnt make Sense no matter the historical context. You give small states more power Than they actually need. Which means someones` vote in new york counts alot less Than someones' vote in Alabama. This doesnt make Sense because people are not Equal anymore when the vote of someone from Alabama is so much more important Than a vote from someone of new york
I would matter more if us americans actually voted on presidents and not on people to vote on presidents for us just to assure the america can go down in the history books as earths largest oligarch ever.
It's actually a system that has worked well for just under 200 years. The issue with it now is that many of the politicians are corrupt and the majority of the population doesn't care enough to go out and vote for people that won't go crooked after the elections. People have become generally smarter due to the amount of information that is easily accessible now but at the same time they have become ignorant and lazy towards the society they live in so they dont vote nearly as much or dont care.
@@c4onmylip Not really. I mean, it started out so that only landed white males could vote, gave slaves 3/5ths of a vote (to be used by their owners, so it was a compromise to keep slave owners from having quite as many extra votes as they had slaves), and had elections take place only one day that wasn't a Federal holiday, and had the Electoral College implemented to specifically overturn majority rule and even overturn the votes of their constituents in the case that a charismatic, but unqualified and/or incompetent demagogue who preached populist rhetoric got the majority of *their* votes (and, as far as I can tell, never actually did that in the elections where they overturned the national popular vote). Then when black people could vote there was the entire Jim Crow era, and of course, we are currently dealing with the results of decades of gerrymandering and voter suppression which got increased by the Supreme Court overturning the portions of the Civil Rights Act that prevented certain States from doing the things that they immediately started doing the millisecond that the majority Republican Supreme Court declared that they obviously never would do again.
lnsflare1 Actually, in the election of 1824, Andrew Jackson was ousted even though he won the popular vote and electoral votes. He technically had the most votes, but not a majority; 4 candidates had run for president at the time. Quincy Adams got it instead, only because it was the House Speaker Henry Clay who got to choose, and he wanted to be Sec. of State so he chose whichever candidate would make him Sec. of State, Quincy Adams. So it has happened, Jackson is exactly the supposed populist candidate you described. But that was around the first time, nearly all whites could vote in the country.
I hate how I found this funny. But I did. I found it fucking hilarious. I'm not even American. But this was brilliant. The hit in the nards was brilliant. Honestly I can't remember when the Midterm Elections are... are they held on Tuesday, November 6th, the first Tuesday in November? Someone clarify please?
fensew94 nah. Both sides can be ham fisted and feels like a lecture more than something to laugh at. I consider myself a liberal but even I have to cringe. Politics and humor are hand in hand but people don't want to feel talked down to. It's all about how it's done in the end
While it's obvious College Humor has a liberal lean, I really appreciate this video. Not only was it funny, but really they're just telling you to go vote and take part of our democracy. They're not explicitly telling you to vote one way or another, the whole point is just to spread important information. And anyone who complains about this video because they're not American... it's not for you???? So?????? Just go watch a different one? If you don't care about American politics then why watch? In case you forgot, College Humor is an American comedy show, so of course they're going to focus on American issues and happenings. Keep it up CH, loving every video.
I get where you're going with it, though I gotta call the line ".. just to have a chance to flip the house!" as something liberal / left leaning. ^^' Personally not a fan of their political comedy, as it's rarely (if at all) with jokes about liberals too, often (if not always) having conservatives / right-wingers as the butt of their joke. Might just be me though.
As someone else once said. Isn’t voting what got Trump elected in the first place? It seems like most Americans are stuck in their teams. Why don’t you change the voting to a Saturday or Make it a national holiday? In Australia it’s on a Saturday and depending on your electorate sausage sizzles might take place. I don’t agree why you don’t want Aussie gun laws, but I accept it, but voting on a Saturday with a high likelihood you will get a barbecue sausage? Why are Americans against this? Then maybe more people less dedicated to a team will vote and competence will matter more.
Sloppy Toons I went to Australia for a year (I’m English) and although I prefer our system to the American one I gotta say the Aussies seem to have nailed voting. I also like the compulsory voting bit. It’s an awesome country and was thinking about moving if I could but I might just have to wait til I retire and get a retirement visa
Wilsons Paints I’m not a fan of compulsory voting, but it has to be super accessible and easy. Doing a Mickey Mouse vote when you don’t like either candidate is a waste of time. Australia has its moments, but it’s too far away from everything so I left 12 years ago now.
Why not protest your disenfranchisement, if you where purged, with a peaceful protest of purged people at every site? Bonus points if you allow them to arrest you, mass arrests as people where stripped from the poles and refused their voting rights would look so good on the current government, wouldn't it? If you failed to register, for any reason, write to your current senator about the fact every other country automatically registers all citizens to vote and your state should do the same?
Jinx Dragon umm I’m registered to vote lol I’m just saying it’s not very helpful to tell people to get registered after the deadline has already passed
@@georgecross4100 From Wikipedia: In the United States, Election Day is the day set by law for the general elections of federal public officials. It is statutorily set as "the Tuesday next after the first Monday in the month of November" or "the first Tuesday after November 1".[1] The earliest possible date is November 2, and the latest possible date is November 8. Its always Tuesday and that has a history, that doesn't count today anymore: "Farmers often needed a full day to travel by horse-drawn vehicles to the county seat to vote. Tuesday was established as election day because it did not interfere with the Biblical Sabbath or with market day, which was on Wednesday in many towns.[7]"
Tomorrow another day at school my friends created a funny game in every break I get punched in the face by all of them. But when I get home to my TWO girlfriends it is all good again. I am the UA-cam Megastar. Thanks for listening dear lily star
1:02 Just wanted to point out: Grant said "all 435 of America's congresspeople". This isn't true - all 435 members (representatives) of the House of Representatives are being elected. Grant just established in the line before that 35 senators (all of which are also congresspeople) are also up for reelection, leaving 65 members of Congress that aren't.
Crouton i mean i of course want people to vote for my canidate since I want them to win, but I honestly just find it important that our generation takes our fate into our own hands and makes sure that the changes being made to the country will be benefitting them.
To be honest. Do you really want people voting in elections that need to be informed by CollegeHumor? It’s not that hard to know when elections are.....
When one politically party is cartoonishly evil, yes, I don't want anyone voting for those assholes. North Carolina is barely considered a democracy now due to how horribly Republicans have gerrymandered districts, purged voters, and so on. This is after numerous judges have declared the Republicans' actions unconstitutional so they had to undo them. Vote. Just not for Republicans. Those fuckers are the worst.
You guys said Tuesday, November 6th a ton of times but before you said "most people work on tuesdays" I didnt even realize it was on a Tuesday and I work that day. Guess that shows why you had to reiterate it so many times.
@@nashbeasley2939 Every state. That's a federal law. But you only get two hours and it's unpaid and you have to prove you would otherwise be unable to vote.
I'm from Poland and we had voting today (local elections). It's always in Sunday or Holiday so nobody works that day AND you are automatically registered. It's sooo much easier than in USA.
Yes, but we can't have nice things, because of the political system. Especially when it's a part of the political system. Especially especially when it's one of its main driving forces.
Right, "nobody works that day" except emergency responders, nurses, doctors, law enforcement, transit staff, the staff of every restaurant store and shop that's open on Sundays... great if you have strong systems to make sure they all get to vote too, but the U.S. does not, so making Election Day a holiday would only make voting access disparities worse.
And while I absolutely support the message of this video, why wasn't it released over a month before the vote so that the people who need more than a month's notice to register could still be reminded to to do?
While I am not American, USA is big enough counttry that its politics will have large impact internationally. Good thing to get people to vote ant this video was at least mildly amusing
we could wipe out whatever it is your entire country is, within a day. And within a week our media machines would have a biparistan consensus with voters on both side of the aisle convinced it was the right thing to do for 'american interests' . americans elections matter way more for the people outside of its borders then the people on the inside. and by matter, i mean in the life and death sense.
Here in Germany all citizens are automatically registered for voting at age 16 and all elections are held on sundays to make shure that everyone is able to vote. Just saying... (Besides: We use pens and paper ballots instead of the odd machines used by many US States. And we have a mixed member proportional system which combines the avantages of a party-list proportional system with those of a first-past-the-post voting system, avoiding gerrymandering and unproportional represanation...)
For understanding purposes: In Germany, sunday is (for almost every profession) a free day. Day off. People don't work. (that's why they can go vote on that day)
The US has voting on the first Tuesday in November in the constitution because that's the sweet spot when most farmer aren't busy harvesting fall crops, and it gives them time to travel to the state capital after selling their crops at the market over the weekend. Yeah. It's a wee bit archaic.
0:46 Um, actually the elections aren't on the first Tuesday in November, per se, but the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. That's why the 2016 elections were on the 8th even though November 1st was a Tuesday. EDIT: can I have a point?
Your point is so dumb it actually confused me ,it’s literally the first Tuesday of November, azin the first Tuesday you’ll get in November everyone knows that but you Dumbass
While I'm genuinely glad to hear that California has same-day registration (sent in my app yesterday), I do have to admit that this came out a bit late: the message isn't going to be heard in time in the mass of states that require a month in advance Nice job though
I already voted by mail and I posted a spreadsheet on Twitter about absentee ballots to help out of state college students figure out their voting situation. I've done my part!
This seems like it would have been a really good sketch to release on Sept 6. One Month before voting day. Voting day on November 6. The date when many states require you to register by. September 6.
I forgot that watching the Collegehumor sketch comedy youtube channel is the only way for a US citizen to learn about pertinent information regarding voting and elections
the usa is so behind when it comes to voting in austria u get sent a card automatically when u are at least 16 years old u take the card and an ID and got vote. And they take place on sunday so people can make it easily.
I can vote without ID, by going to my Reservation, because the democrats dont control my state like they do North Dakota where the Democratic party leaders there passed a law requiring a physical mailing address to register for voting (and now they are blaming it on republicans because Kavanaugh upheld the law on the basis of state's rights, so now its a bad thing)
Yea but the OP has a point. Just because its easy to register in one state doesn't make that true for all states. And the fact that something as impactful as voting isn't uniform throughout our country is begging for unnecessary conflict
Michael, i can agree there. the problem i have is pretty simple. You need ID to do EVERYTHING. You literally cannot be an adult in the US, and get through life without an ID, be it a State Photo ID or a Drivers license. Since it is required to update your drivers license or State ID when you change your address, or leave one state for another, you should just be registered to vote at the same time. Yes it means requiring ID to vote, but the thing is, you need ID to cash a Social Welfare check as well. All the people who are supposedly unable to provide ID for voting, are supposed to be people getting benefits who cannot afford the cost of the ID...but they shouyuld already HAVE the ID if they are collecting benefits, since you need an ID to receive them...
Dont forget if you notify an office earlier in advance you can vote by letter if you are not able to vote that day for any reason. Like work or holiday that anyone who has a certain age and is a citizen can vote, even outside the coutry. And if you dont have the card for some reason the id suffice to let you vote because you are registered too. Its foolproof.
Ooh, how about, instead of reminding everyone that voting is the best way you can get change in a modern society and even though you feel disenfranchised you do nothing but commit a self-fulfilling prophecy by abstaining from voting, I make a stale reference to a meme and troll someone like a sociopath?
Taking part in voting for authoritarians who are going to use their power to slaughter thousands -millions really- of brown people and perpetuate a Holocaust in Yemen, regardless of party, is stupid, short sighted, and evil. Giving anything like your approval to such a system is exactly what allows it to exist.

t's almost like people in power are trying to keep voter turnout low to concentrate power in as few hands as possible, specifically based on location, social class and ethnic group.

Because that's how countries work.
jojag5 And voting laws don't suit either party. They just ensure that smaller states aren't completely underrepresented.

Wait when are mid-term elections?!?
Mid-term elections are on Tuesday, November 6th?
What's on Tuesday November 6th?
That’s a day before my birthday:///
What's happening November 6th??
So with that, I’m going to give you an oversimplified version of what went on when they wrote our constitution:
Large states: We should have a single house legislature where the legislators voted are based on population.
Small states: What? No! That’ll give you all the power, so it should be 1 state = 1 legislator.
*A few months of bickering later*
Connecticut: How about we combine both ideas, with a bicameral legislature where one is based on population and the other is 1 state = 2 legislators.
@Cody Garcia The electoral college is useless now tho. Sure it makes sense why they originally did it, but now it's trash
I will say you got the maths off on 1000-500 - should be 66% and 33%.
I would matter more if us americans actually voted on presidents and not on people to vote on presidents for us just to assure the america can go down in the history books as earths largest oligarch ever.

When your not American and you realise how stupid the American voting system is
When you *are* American and you realize how stupid the American voting system is.
Yup, and this didn't even get into the huge amount of taxation without representation mainly due to voter id laws and felony disfranchisement.

You ever realise people only ever notice comedy is political when it goes against their politics.
Pretty much, although when making a political joke you've gotta be prepared that at least half of your audience will hate it.
fensew94 nah. Both sides can be ham fisted and feels like a lecture more than something to laugh at. I consider myself a liberal but even I have to cringe. Politics and humor are hand in hand but people don't want to feel talked down to. It's all about how it's done in the end
Damn right. Everything is political in somebway, we just don't notice it because we agree.

While it's obvious College Humor has a liberal lean, I really appreciate this video. Not only was it funny, but really they're just telling you to go vote and take part of our democracy.

And they take place on sunday so people can make it easily.
And in Texas (possibly many other states) all we have to do is tick a box when we apply for our drivers license and we're registered to vote.
Everything changed when the Firemen attacked
Only the DrillMaster, master of all four drills could bring balance
Ooh, how about, instead of reminding everyone that voting is the best way you can get change in a modern society and even though you feel disenfranchised you do nothing but commit a self-fulfilling prophecy by abstaining from voting, I make a stale reference to a meme and troll someone like a sociopath?
this is great
Taking part in voting for authoritarians who are going to use their power to slaughter thousands -millions really- of brown people and perpetuate a Holocaust in Yemen, regardless of party, is stupid, short sighted, and evil. Giving anything like your approval to such a system is exactly what allows it to exist.

Vote for someone who wants to end the wars, vote for someone who will make it easier to end the wars, call your representatives and demand they do so, run on that platform yourself, whine and complain and take it, or shut up and take it. Those are the options.
@@PierzStyx You've taken a defeatist position.
If it's hopeless, you should be in the streets protesting or rioting.
If that's too far, then do some research, and vote.
People died so we could be free. Wars were fought. It's disrespectful to those we wronged, like the natives and the slaves, who's unwilling suffering got us our priveledged lives, to abstain.
It's disrespectful to those you're claiming to stand for, to sit there and let it all happen. Your silence, your abstinence, those make you culpable.
If you don't vote, you share the guilt with the politicians who do these awful things. It becomes your fault.
That, and, honestly, man, it makes the virtue you're acting like you have seem weak, possibly even fake.
Wasn't Obama the anti-war candidate? I mean, he's a mass murderer but still
Proud Oregonian here, just wanted to point out that Oregon has automatic voter registration, and vote by mail. We also register 3 weeks in advance, not a month.
They do the same thing in North Dakota, its great.
I'm confused: if you have automatic registration why then you still have to register 3 weeks in advance?
John Nycto because not everyone gets registered under automatic registration, you have to interact with the DMV to be registered. Also, 3 weeks is when ballots are mailed out, so if you turn 18 after that, you can’t vote since Oregon does vote by mail.
What if we put someone in a costume with silly makeup
I read this comment while it happeened!!
The Russians in 2016 election
I never saw this video before but I've been on a CH binge for a couple days and by coincidence I've stumbled upon this particular video...On November 6th.
☑ Vote. It's no joke. ✊🏿
BuddyL yes! Vote republican! ✌🏻
@@tedriko3242 Can't do that 'cause I actually love 🇺🇸. Republicans don't.
Half of College Humor's videos are political, just not explicitly.
everything is political
Will J Well this video must have been a nice change of pace then.
@@BlueyMcPhluey What about "I think Walugi should be in smash"? I really dont think *everything* should be taken within a political context.
@@kaedenle That's analagous to an open borders policy. Smash=America Luigi=Mexicans. Everything is political. 😁
@@MaskOfCinder Durrr... ok.
*Daga Kotarawu* !!!
People should go out and vote like democracy depends on it. Because it does.
We are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic.
Actually we are both
America is a Constitutionally limited democratically elected representative republic. Also glad College Humor is doing this but damn have they been turning out shitty content for the last 3 years. It's a goddamn shame. Same with Rooster teeth. Huge dip in quality but they pander to their audiences they retained so the fans dont notice. Im registered libertarian btw lol. Democrats and Republicans can eat a dick and college humor has shit taste in political opinions lol.
Yeah, they need to vote all those democrats out and republicans in.

EARTH DRILL (EARTHQUAKE)
WATER DRILL (FLOOD)
FIRE DRILL (FIRE)
Wait when are the midterm elections?
I don't know. I didn't really get it. It was all so confusing. Honestly I just watched for that clown getting hit in the nards. Hah that was truly comedy.
I don't think they mentioned it, which is a horrible oversight on CH.
Did you not watch the video? They clearly said they were on December 6th. Idiot.
Ran S I do not know what it means to get woodshed, but it sounds like a terrible fate.
Stale Memes you’re not slick xd
Please. Put. Outtakes. Of. This. On. CH2.
Air Drill is Tornado, Earth Drill is Earthquake. Do people in hurricane land or floodland have drills for those?
Omg I love the new hair color Ally
Dye it back Ally.
It makes her look kinda gay
TheShatteredSpider it’s true tho, like I’d think she was totally lesbo if I didn’t know any better
Brennan’s is more natural
Alex you do know Ally’s gay right lol
Wait what happens on November 6th?
Jake Karpinski the midterm election, did you not watch the fucking video?

@Fusion Player The midterm election? When does that take place?
This... This blew my mind
the fact that this was actually insanely funny is a testament to CH's skill
Been meaning to but because of this video I immediately went to request an absentee ballot
In Australia, they know where you live so they send you an enrollment form which is free to post back. Plus, it's compulsory to vote.
And on a Saturday. And generally comes with a democracy sausage
Because of this video, i found out i can vote by mail! Just requested my ballot ^_^
"If Voting Made a Difference, They Wouldn’t Let Us Do It."
-- Mark Twain
Well... voter ID laws, closing polling places, the war on mail in votes, voter disenfranchisement, ect. They're kinda trying.
If it didn't make a difference, they wouldn't be trying so hard to stop us from doing it.
That's not a Mark Twain quote and also, why is there so much effort being put into disenfranchising votes if it means nothing?
It's nice to know that it clearly makes a difference in the United States, considering they are *trying their asses off* to not let people do it.
Instead of playing Pokemn Go,
how about we think how to make them pokemon go to the polls!
I still dont know why anyone would think that was an alright, let alone good, idea for a line
The line doesnt even make sense
Slowbro for president.
just place mews inside polls and a lot will go

I still don't understand the trend of calling everything that you don't like "cringe." These sorts of things are completely arbitrary and subjective.
