RECEIVE GOD'S FORGIVENESS - Pastor Antonio Junior

The Bible shows that we can be really happy if we are in communion with God. And for that to happen, we need to repent of our sins to be forgiven.
"Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out, that they may rest times of the Lord ..." (Acts 3: 19,20).
God's forgiveness is available to all who repent!
Did you know that true happiness is found only when you are in communion with God? Most people are looking for a joy, happiness in the things of this earth, but the Bible shows us that the human being is only truly happy when he repents of his sins and he then gives his life to Jesus Christ.
We read in the Word of God that David was a king of Israel and he had everything in his life. He had wealth, fame, glory. And it was mainly the presence of God with him. But at a certain moment of his life he slipped away. His heart began to covet another woman - a married woman. Until he lay with her. And he, to hide his sin, he has killed the husband of that woman. He thought perhaps that, for him to be king, for God is in his life, nothing would happen. But then the hand of God weighed in his life and he realized how bad it is to disobey God, how bad is going against the commandments of God and do what is wrong. And I want to read to you what he said in a psalm. He says: ". While I hid my sin, my body wasted away from groaning For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was running out as in times of drought" (Psalm 32: 3,4 ).
David lived a hell in your life. The man was truly happy. He had everything he needed in his life. But the fact that he disobeyed God brought many bad consequences. Perhaps you know people in your family or yourself has been that person ... Why disobey God, you now see yourself lost in his life. You can not have joy. And David was that way. He said that while he fled from God, he was the most miserable man on earth. Until God, by His mercy, he raised the prophet Nathan, and when Nathan came to him and showed him all he had done wrong, David came to his senses and he began to open up to God. Because the biggest mistake of man is when he sins, he wants to run away from God. Do you think God will not accept it. But David decided to open his heart to God and I want to read to you his prayer:
"Let me hear joy and gladness again; and the bones crushed exult. Hides his face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew in me a steady spirit "(Psalm 51: 8-10).
The man then began to ask God: Lord, give me again a pure heart. Renova within me firm and stable heart, which does not deviate more from your presence. And this prayer you should do right where you are. Ask God to renew your strength. Ask God to show you that true joy is found only in His presence.
So I want to tell you one thing: sin promises you freedom, but he enslaves you. Sin promises pleasure, happiness, but it only brings grief. Sin makes you pay a much higher debt than you should pay. It takes you much further than you wanted to go. And it moves you away from God in a way that you can not imagine. So open your heart to God and ask for forgiveness for him. Stop living the way you think is right. The Bible says that we must turn to the Lord and repent of our sins.
When you are going on a path and this path you realize it's a wrong path that will lead you to death, destruction, you must do a conversion. You must give turn around and come back to God, back to God's ways. Then unto the Lord once and for all. Do not go in the wake of his friends. Do not go following the advice of people who do not want a commitment to God. If necessary, you will have to give up their friends, you'll have to, sometimes, hate his father and his mother, his family. But Jesus said that if this happens, you will receive the kingdom of God, and it is worth more than anything else. Maybe your life go get harder. Maybe the problems will increase. But if your heart is changed, if you are with a heart full of God's presence, you can be sure nothing will take away your joy, nothing will steal your peace. Because the most important thing we have is us being in the presence of God.
