  • What lives in the Canals of Venice? How does the water of the Canals of Venice look under a microscope? The city is entirely built into the water's of a shallow and warm lagoon and is therefore the perfect place to discover the microscopic life in the Adriatic Sea.

    So "slave work". So you reckon you see the start of a new endosymbiotic capture event? Chloroplasts version 2.0 ? Now that is cool. I guess all that needs to happen now is that the creature has to decide to not eat the captured prey.
