      Great Video!
      If it isn't too much of a bother, I'd like to see how well the Nutribullet blends nuts. I've always imagined that they'd fall below the blades, but who knows?

    • @BlenderKitchen
      @BlenderKitchen  6 років тому +1

      I'll try to get to it tomorrow! I've done nuts plenty, usually works out pretty well... Do you have a Nutribullet?

    • @arcanetechnologist1295
      @arcanetechnologist1295 6 років тому +1

      Thanks, and yes I do- I've only ever used it for blending fruits and such to make smoothies since I've been afraid the blades might snap from anything else. Today I wondered if it could blend ice, looked up my question, and found your video!

    • @BlenderKitchen
      @BlenderKitchen  6 років тому

      I don't think the blender is DESIGNED to do ice like that - I just learned Nutribullet company says you shouldn't - but hey it was a good test anyway.
      I'll let you know when the nuts one is going up!

    • @BlenderKitchen
      @BlenderKitchen  6 років тому

      Did the nut test - ua-cam.com/video/Bjp8RmPp3o8/v-deo.html...
      Was able to do it well in the Nutribullet, but not sure I'd recommend it since it got hot inside (and I know you're not supposed to put hot stuff in). Check it out!

    It does say in the instructions that liquid always needs to be used whatever you blend. Also pulsing helps by pushing and releasing on the power button

    Thank you for the video! I used my Nutribullet for the first time last night and ice in my smoothies is a MUST. I placed the ice on top of all the ingredients then added the liquid and the ice never blended well and stopped the blades. Next time I'm going to try putting the ice in first so when I turn the Nutribullet to insert into the motor the ice will be at the top.
    If that doesn't work I may purchase an ice crusher.

    • @BlenderKitchen
      @BlenderKitchen  6 років тому

      SonshineLady do you have the pro 600 or 900? They certainly can crush ice in smoothies the 900 does it better though.
      What are you trying to do?

      Be careful, My Nutribullet 900 Pro broke because it jammed on the ice / frozen spinach and broke the spinning mechanism at the base of the power unit (the bit that transfers the power from the the base motor to the cup blade thingy. )

    hi Joe, Im hoping you have already tried the older version? so actually i was wondering if the older version can crush ice well? Not the (silver) NUTRI bullet but the older cheaper blender original Magic Bullet (its black), I ask because I wouldnt want to be disappointed and have to purchase both if the more affordable one doesnt work out. my ice cubes are the bigger square homemade one's & not from an electric ice maker, and i'll mainly need it for protein/ greens smoothies & shakes.

  • @1jackvalley580

    This 900 watt Nutribullet can absolutely crush ice because the 900 watt motor is plenty big. The problem is the size of the container holding the ice, it's only 20 ounces and there is no room for the large amount of ice he put in it. If you purchase any 900 watt with a 32 ounce ice container it would work 100% better because it has a lot more room for the ice to move and not get stuck, or just use much ice less ice in it

    The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!

You cannot run it for more than 30 seconds and then wait for minutes to cool it and then again run it. The jars remains stuck for almost 30 min. I swear its waste of time and money.
    Please do not buy because i have wasted my money and i don't want all of you to waste it. The cost of spare jars is almost 3000 and you all know with this cost we can buy new mixer grinder. Nutribullet is waste
