Tom Daley does crochet, but he was very obviously knitting in the photo shown. All the projects I saw him working on during the Tokyo Olympics were knit (dog sweater, Olympic sweater, medal pouch). I think Jonah was just too polite to correct Drew. I'm glad to see Jonah doing so well while also helping others. If you haven't read his book yet, he describes his younger self as quite a mischievous little stinker. :)
I love this! Jonah is phenomenal. One of my older brothers was a crochet king. He taught himself and would create shirts, hats, sweaters and other things for himself. Its a pity he didn't try to move beyond d it just being a hobby. Jonah is an entrepreneur. Business and artistry is in his genes. Hopefully he will realize that when he gets older. One thing is certain whatever profession he chooses he will be extremely successful.

Not a surprise Tom Daley does crochet. During WWII, anyone in Britain who was not on the front line knitted or crocheted socks, sweaters, caps etc. for the war effort. The boys as well as the girls learned how. My brother-in-law was born and raised in England and he learned too.
