- I have been making beaded jewelry for over 15 years and have just started to try my hand at resin jewelry (both epoxy and UV). I am super new to UV Resin but I have learned a lot in a short time and wanted to share with you guys. This video is a beginners tutorial for UV Resin jewelry.
For the first time I added a bonus clip in the end of a cut scene from the video. Just wanted to give you a laugh for your day.

Dess thanks so much for your great videos. I’m very new to resin. Can you tell me the best light you have found for curing?TFS 😊
You are so welcome. So glad you liked it. I don't have a favorite lamp. But I do have favorite features. Like making sure the lamp has it's own timer and that it is nice a big and not too small.
Here are some suggestions I have for uv lamps

Will the metal turn? These are so pretty wanting to do this with my wedding bouquet
I am assuming when you say turn you mean tarnish? If so then my answer is depends on the bezels you buy. Some do and some do not. Sterling Silver does not tarnish.
Oh my word I love that idea so very much. What a beautiful reminder of your wedding.
Also make sure the flowers are NOT fresh but dried very very well. Fresh flowers go bad in the resin.
what is the best way to get the sticky residue off the backside of the bezel? mine are always with tape residue
You need to rub the sticky residue from the tape off. I have been able to use my thumb/fingers to rub it off and then I proceed to add another layer of UV resin to the back.
Does that help? Is that is what you were asking?
@@DezyJewelry can you use rubbing alcohol or something to get it off?
Yes I have used rubbing alcohol before.
In Canada, the dollar stores sell little bottles of Goo Gone. I don’t know if it would adversely affect the resin but it is great for getting rid of sticky residue.
Ohhhh sounds good. You could wait until it dries more and then use goo gone. Great idea!!!
Where do u get these small flowers
Oh nvm
In the description I put a link where I got the exact flowers in the video. Let me know if you find it.
