This is actually fucking awesome, I cannot even slightly pretend it's comparable to the original because it's genuinely not even the same genre. Still loved it, though.

I don't understand why these guys would stoop down and borrow from Yeezus and similar off-putting postmodern hip hop which doesn't belong in the same building as a track like Critical Acclaim or Nightmare or Blinded in Chains or Second Heartbeat. Ive been following the band since waking the fallen and have come to enjoy the variety they produce with each record. Ive been wondering what the fans who come aboard during Nightmare think about this one lol. Id bet they lost a couple mainstream listeners with LIBAD and The Stage. Me personally, I think I owe A7X for helping me develop an open mind for music.

This is really well done and accurate. It's hard for me to decide which version I like better. I guess 2005 me would like this version better and 2023 me likes the real version better. You did a great job.
Some parts were a bit too busy, although I definitely get the sound you were going for with this. Vocals don't quite mesh well with the rest of the sound, but that's unavoidable when trying to do this. It's very clear this was made out of passion for both the new song and their older stuff, and overall it is pretty cool, nice work!

People have raised that that's similar to City of Evil, and while I agree City of Evil has a lot going on, it meshes together much more coherently than this remix. I love City of Evil, and I really like the new album (although not as much as some of their other albums), but this remix feels less coherent than either, but otherwise it's pretty good.

The only problem I have with this is some of the harmony stuff. The lead stuff that goes over the "Here we fly so high," bit is decidedly minor when the vocals definitely use a major third. Other than that, this is fucking stellar. A really great representation of everything they were previously but blending it in to what they are doing now.

This "remix" was what I was looking for the complex riffs and the well put together notes. I don't want to hear an avenged sevenfold album that sounds like a watered down ,trying to be a part of the modern. I want the music to make me feel like I'm avenging some shit, like all the other albums have , people are to stress and work to hard, and need something that can energize and forget about the norm, if I wanted to hear some soft shit I'll just listen to simple plan . Thanks! The vocal tracks are the one thing about these writing exercises that can’t be changed, and it ends up becoming a real challenge to make them fit. Great songwriting practice though, and good fun too!
Definitely, definitely interested in more of your interpretations. They sound great and you've done a great job manipulating these vocals to a more classic backtrack. If you continue with these I think Easier would be the natural progression, could easily go a Lost route with it.

People grow and evolve just like everything else, this album is complex and artistic and most importantly it’s NEW it’s DIFFERENT it’s expanding on a level you maybe weren’t ready for or can’t understand, but it has literally a bit of everything and such a beautiful message behind it. If you’re a fan then you will support your artists in being vulnerable and actually making art.
Also people who say it's a mess or whatever make me laugh. As someone who enjoys Sonic Youth, Primal Scream, Bowie's Blackstar, and Nine Inch Nails' Bad Witch, this album is easy listening in comparison lol
