I have a shaman tank myself also. The only thing I am worried about at higher level and bosses is mana management (block is not high enought on single target fights to systain your mana) and spell hit rating. I am afraid many spells are gonna get missed causes us to have threat issues. If these 2 get fixed I believe shaman is gonna be very good and fun to tank with.
@@bosssavage3325 Yea right now its ok. I do use water shield for single target tanking (which feels dogshit but ok for now). I do hope future runes will fix that issue and give us good block chance.
It might be more viable to be a healing tank than an enhance tank, as you can easily get -100% interrupt resistance with earth shield and you get infinite mana from blocking. Play it like a blood DK instead of playing like a feral druid and become even tankier with your own sustain. In raids you can get the earth shield of another shaman, so you can still apply the way of earth rune.
My experience with this game has been so negative, I had no choice but to quit. Worst game ever released. Got farmed that badly by alliance that I spent hours with res sickness because if i ran back to my body in was insta killed. 10min res sickness and 2g in an hour and a half on repairs is just not acceptable. Sort of glad tbh, this experience has made me uninstall battle net and anything related. The game is a disease and should be banned, they play on addiction and it's predatory. Blizzard should be ashamed. I always thought that the game used to be better but I played HC and by level 25 I was that bored of running everywhere I just killed myself then this released and it was straight misery from start to finish. I was super excited and 2 days in I get so angry at the very thought of it. They clearly said they don't care about balance only fun? Ok so fun for some and the rest can go F themselves? How have pals got bubble and immune to roots and slows then 1 shot me, rogues have evasion and vanish and as a mage I got what exactly? Regen? It's great in pve but does nothing at all in pvp, mage damage is an absolute joke in pvp also. Verse a hunter and i will try poly or even a frostbolt rank 1 and before the cast can finish I am dead? I thought maybe this would be a classic that would last longer than a week before being dead but not a chance in hell. I am not coming back for the next part because I know it will be trash. It's a straight addiction hence why you, savix and the rest of use streamers spend so much time every single day playing this crap. I truly believe this game needs to be banned
The worst thing about wow is players actually think knowing a mech in this game makes them intelligent yet I bet none of use could build anything and have no life skills to offer the world. I am lucky that I didn't find this crap until i was older and retired or I think I would have ended up the same. This game is a joke and the community is just sad and an embarrassment

Bet future runes will fix these issues. Need something to progress into so it couldn’t all be there at 25! Same with other classes
theres no way you could use other runes to change this issue as you need the 3 runes on now to tank

shaman tanks are very strong for certain things, but they fall short in others in my experience, AOE tanking with melee mobs they are godtier

I would have made a weakaura for it that yells at you in giant text when out of combat and tracks duration in combat

I wish they scaled the mobs a little bit more. Content is pretty trivial now with all these runes. Healing mage just can't die.
Was trivial before i quite easily tanked dungeons into the 50s as a shaman in classic couldnt do any of the max dungeons though
