Very good inspection on the trailer 👏 Kevin. Usually, if I find a problem with a trailer, I call breakdown, and they can send someone to fix it at the location. I don't send my empty call until I have a good trailer. That way, I can keep going.
That is awesome and Kevin did amazing with the inspection and even knowing where to check and it is really great that y’all been doing this for 3 years when Kevin was with Warner how was it I know December 6th my medical card expired
Glad your not here this weekend bad storm coming through they say it will go up the East Coast next week. Also keep your eyes open for a 579 Pete with a strep deck, that will be ghost and me..Truck is a light gray.
Awesome video and it was such a pleasure to talk to you on the phone that plainview Walmart dc is twenty miles from my house on us 70 east in floydada Texas keep up the great videos…..
Kevin it is good to see a Driver check over the Trailer that he is hooking up to, I've seen Drivers who just hook up and drive off without a check. You look very adept on your Tablet, Trucking has changed a lot since I retired and has gotten High Tech now, very different to the days when A Driver had to find a Phone to contact his office for Loads. You are a True Professional and a credit to the Trucking Industry. Keep Safe you two and a Merry Christmas.🎄✨🎎🎈
Yeah I get messages to check my messages. I told US Xpress they are worse than a psycho ex girlfriend with the messages. Glad to see it not just me lol y'all be safe! Always looking for ya
No kingpin lock on that trailer. Uh no, looks like not much road footage coming our way on that long trip to Texas. Bummer. When we would go on deployments within the U.S. and people were allowed to drive their personal vehicles, on the last day we would buy bra's and womens underwear and stash them in the guys glove compartment of their vehicles. Of course we removed the upc code tags. Usually like 44DD bras and size 4 or 6 undergarments. Made for some interesting conversations when the girlfriends or wives found them. Wintergarden, played on some nice golf courses there. Your near Davenport, Fl. Our favorite Florida town. Lol.
I was there a couple weeks ago to pick up a trailer. They were on break when I walked in so I just connected to the trailer and left. My asset manager said I didn't have to inform anyone inside😅
Hi, Kevin &Co good trailer inspection can't be too careful in my younger days took trailer for to get landing legs handle renewed 😂but someone had previously broken into trailer via the roof. it was opened up like can of sardines didn't notice till i was going up to the rest room, thankfully they new about but it pays to do you're 23point ✅ regards from Scotland 🏴🇬🇧👍
Hello Kev, really enjoying your content. I have a question. About a year ago you showed where you purchased the Garmin Dezl 800. I know you use multiple GPS’s so I was wondering, in your opinion, which one is best for OTR. Thanks again and keep the great content coming.
Just 1 cent advise, I do not see point of checking tire inflation on trailer because it has automatic inflation system. I would rather check visually for nail poking on tire. That is the reason most tire bursting happens on the road. I am crete driver too. Please educate other drivers for nail. I almost find nail poking every 2 to 3 trailers, and had tire burst twice in a few months already this year. 😂
Wow! Sorry you had two tires burst recently! Hello fellow Crete driver! Truly it's best to do both types of inspections. Visual inspection is definitely important! There are many nails that mysteriously find their way into tires. It's also important to check inflation. With a thumper, you can tell if it is not fully inflated. Underinflated tires run the danger of getting too hot. Also, a tire could be off the rim and you might not notice with just a visual inspection.
@TheJoyofTrucking I do not deny checking tire inflation in general. I meant checking tire inflation under automatic tire inflation system was overkill. I have tested tire pressure monitoring. Tire loses air. However, chance of losing air under automatic tire inflation system is very low. And, I see so many nails attached on tire. It slowly penetrates into tire inside, and tire bursts eventually. I have managed to save some tire before bursting by nail twice too. If I try to take out nails out of tire, it leaks air on those cases. I have seen that at TA or Loves shop too. Under inflation is a problem. But, I believe nail poking is the problem for Crete trailers

WOW! I had two trailers that were empty and damaged. Both were missing a door. Luckily they had another empty I could take.
You always do such a thorough job, Kevin.
Be safe you 2 🎉❤

Will you be decorating rambling rose full of Christmas decorations 😂😂

There need to be staging areas for checking in instead of parking in front of trailers.
Should be able to move a trlr as long as its empty and in route to be Repaired

WOW you guys seem to worry alot thought I would see the rear axle ripped off of the trailer not door trim missing lol
Great Video
Hello guys, stay safe 🤘
One question, why all the gps units, you have 3 going, just wondering
I'm from Florida and start my orientation Jan 8. I thought I heard in one of your videos that y'all are from Florida?
ABS light should be off. Not on. On means you have a fault.
Yes. But…when you do the light test it should come on and off. It didn’t.

How do you like your KW?
Paint touch up? Yea, right. LOL
Do you get paid for pre-trip inspections, fueling, layover, delay, etc.?
👍👍👍
How long did you all have to wait/drive until your spouse was able to ride with you?
From Day 1. 😃🥰
You started with Warner?
What CB radio do y'all use??
How much does Crete pay per hour. What motels do they send you to. Do you get overtime over 40 hours. Thanks, Bill
