Part of the Muskoka FEEL is wood in the interior and the great room cross timbers and the dining room coffered ceilings seem to be missed opportunities to bring in that natural wood feel. I’m not looking for wood everything (that old seventies style needs to stay back then!) but not having any wood inside the home seems an odd choice to me. Other than that, chef’s kiss.

Could be a cool retreat for a weekend, it actually gives off horror movie vibes to me. So I'd be down for that. To each their own, but even if I could stay here for free for the rest of my life, I wouldn't.

The size of your property, what you paid for it, and your income play no role in how much you will pay in property taxes.
I’ve been going to muskoka for over 65 years. This is not what muskoka is about. That’s just a very expensive house on lake. All it displays is extreme opulence. Total ignorance for what muskoka is all about.

It’s a cottage. Boat garage is what it needs. Most people just stay there during summer time. So garage isn’t a must.
