My family has gone to Disney World nearly every year since I was 2 years old, and I'm 17 now. I cannot think of a single time when we've gone to Disney and haven't seen Fantasmic. It's my favorite show at any of the parks. I don't understand how someone can dislike it! Every time I put on this soundtrack, I'm suddenly sitting on the those benches in the August evening haze, having the time of my life. I just got word that my 88 year old grandpa died this morning, and I put this on to feel better. It's really helped. Disney is magical.

26:15 It really, really upsets me how many people leave during the steamboat part. People, _that's not the end of the show!_ It is incredibly rude to get up and walk away while a show is going on, especially considering there is still a few minutes left. It is one thing if there was only 30 seconds and they wanted to leave a bit early to avoid crowds. But to legit get up while everybody else is trying to watch the finale, one of the best parts of the show, is just rude. And these people don't duck, they don't do it modestly; they loudly talk, push by (almost as though they are annoyed everybody is not getting out of their seats so they can leave), they walk in front of other people, they don't try to preserve the view for others. There is no manners about it. Who the hell does that? If you are going to watch the show, *watch the show.* It is a 25 minute show. Do some damn research about the fact that it is long, accept that the crowds to leave will be large, and commit to it instead of ruining the entire finale for people. Ugh. I don't know how a person could even leave with all that going on behind them, lol, I mean there are fireworks and lasers and sparks flying and everything is goin' wild and you just up and turn your back on it like "eh, I'm done now". So nonchalant. If I were a kid and my family forced me to leave during that part, I would be so mad and upset. And if I were a performer and just saw massive lines of people filing out of the stadium while I was up there, I would be annoyed -- I mean, I wouldn't take it personally, but c'mon. I’ve done this before NOW HOLD ON BEFORE YOU SCREAM AT ME, we don’t leave the stadium when the show is still happening. We just get out of our seats QUIETLY (idk about other people) before everyone else does because when the show finishes, the sidewalks would be blocked, plus it would be harder to make the next show happening at the (used to be) Great Movie Ride. It would be harder to get out. And of course, we try to respect the people behind us by not standing around too long. This is why we always go for aisle seats. We just get up and get out. Of course we stay for the finale, it’s not fantastmic without it. After that’s over and we applause we quickly head to the next show and hopefully catch some good seating. It’s all about thinking ahead when it comes to Disney.

I remember seeing this LIVE with my mum and dad about 11 yrs ago, when we went to Disney world. and it was the best thing I had ever seen. It was magical. And watching it again on here, is just amazing.. with everything going on specially with covid 19 pandemic, We all need to escape from this nightmare that we are all going through, and just escape to a world of Disney’s imagination. I like watching all things Disney as I’m a huge fan, and just watching Disney highlights of this amazing place on UA-cam to me is my escape. Hopefully I will and we all get to go back real soon. Floridas is and will remain my fav fantasmic the nostalgia is everything And its more like made to be there bc with this they have an actual venue With seats whereas California its just put on the river and you have to stand, No hate towards California i just prefer Florida, when i was younger i loved this show So much that when i was at home i used to go on my dads computer and watch it On youtube and hum along to the songs. I would have to agree with you, because that is on my bucket list, right next to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Universal Studios, also while I'm at Epcot, I would go shopping at that Store in the Japan Pavilion, and Just Shop for some stuff, like "Coughs" Pokemon stuff, Studio Ghibli Stuff, Etc, Etc. Then I would go to Hollywood Studios, Go to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, First Thing I'm going to do while I'm over there, is that I'm going to build my very own droid, It would be a R2 Unit, Because They're AWESOME!!!!, My R2 Unit would have a White Body, a Red Dome Head, Blue Legs, Red and Blue Accessories, and It'll have a Resistance Chip, and I would get the Backpack, That Way I Can Carry It on my back Like a Baby, because it'll be great for the environment, then have it be in a box, got to go green, also I would name It, Rudy, That Is when the Pandemic is Really Over and Everything is Safe.

Some people like one over the other and that’s their opinion. Please let people have their opinions. There are elements I like better at Disneyland’s version and there are elements in the WDW’s version I like more, but they are both excellent shows and they both are enjoyable shows.
This is why Disneyland villains are better, yes it only features evil queen, ursula, chernabog, and maleficent but they all have their own segment and are more than just a quick plot cameo in WDW
If you look at the left side of the cauldron at 15:56, you can see the person who plays the evil queen as the hag come out from the trap door under the cauldron. Their hand pokes out from the side for a moment.
To tell the truth- my very favorite Disney hero in this show was Rafiki because he arrived on the stage to gather all of the animals of the Pride Lands while Princess Belle was my very favorite Disney heroine because she danced with the Beast while they were riding on their float.
Plus, my absolute favorite Disney villain was the Magic Mirror because he spoke truthfully to Snow White’s wicked stepmother while Ursula was my absolute favorite Disney villainess because she was having the right attitude to take over with the other Disney villains.

Matt Kugelman I've seen little bits of it. To be totally honest I have never considered that show Fantamic. They rerecorded the main theme and when I heard that I was out. I feel like Fantasmic needs a technological update not a rewrite. They made it into a light show instead of enhancing its theatricality. It's a bummer.
Roger Music I thought the same as you, and was really upset with the new Fantasmic over at Disneyland. Pretty much hated everything about it, and it was such a mess in my opinion. But seeing it live, completely changed my mind, now I think I love it as much as the original one.
frodo cheeto Interesting hopefully I get to see it for myself. I think I can fall in love with the visuals but I truly doubt I'll ever get over the rerecording of the main theme. The orchestra in the original has such power and feeling, I can hear they believed in what they where playing. It wasn't just sheet music to them, it was a living breathing form of magic. Idk I'm the type that cries when Mickeys on top of the mountain swinging his harms making "magic."

Katrina Felix Have you ever seen footage of the California. Just so you know, I've never been to Disney Land, or California in my life. I only went to Disney World once in my life, and that was back in 2003, when I was only 12 years old. Eventually, I saw a video that compared World's version of Fantasmic to Land's version of Fantasmic, and I was awe struck and jealous over the one I didn't get to see in person. It's just an opinion, if you don't agree with others, then just ignore them, instead of complaining about it.
SpongicX Yes I've seen it and it doesn't look that much different in my opinion. The only things I noticed were a bit different was that WDW's version is a bit longer and Disneyland has a cooler dragon but that's about it. I just don't see why people are saying it's better

I just dont understamd WDW being more popular and more visited youll think their nightime shows would be top notch but nope! Disneyland is still king in this department. I just cant help but laugh when i see that puppet dragon. WDW you have soooo much to learn from your little counter part in the west coast.
Disneyland in anihiem and tokyo those dragons are better but this dragon isnt it just looks like a dragon head on a stick with wings attached to it sure the ending is good with mickey making the water rise to put out the fire but that still doesnt hide the problem with the dragon
Here is a reason why Disney Lands is waaay better than this for u all. Disney Lands show is much brighter and more colorful. As well as some more movies that almost everyone knows and loves! There is more music, bright colors and more water effects. And yes the Dragon is way more detailed. For WDW you're just watching a screen and it's lagging in any effect. It's like a show some college kids would make. No offense to Disney because I absolutely love going to WDW

Like Epcot. We dont have that out here. Thay still have the people mover and the Rocket rods at Disny World. Disny land did away with those atrctions back in the 90s. Oh and thay still have the cerresel of progress at DW to. I bet you havint herd of that atraction in years ha? Lol! Disnyland got rid of that sometime back in the 80s. Disny world just has alot more then we do now.
Did you forget that Disneyland’s was like this almost EXACTLY in 2009? Disney World’s can’t go down for refurbishments 3 times in 5 years because of guest demand. Disneyland’s could which is why it got refurbished.

The Jafar part is the best improvement over the Disneyland version. Really wish they put this in Fantasmic 2.0.

When I first saw this show in Sept 2018, my parents and I were not sitting at a good angle. I always find the middle better.

Matt Kugelman I've seen little bits of it. To be totally honest I have never considered that show Fantamic. They rerecorded the main theme and when I heard that I was out. I feel like Fantasmic needs a technological update not a rewrite. They made it into a light show instead of enhancing its theatricality. It's a bummer.
Roger Music I thought the same as you, and was really upset with the new Fantasmic over at Disneyland. Pretty much hated everything about it, and it was such a mess in my opinion. But seeing it live, completely changed my mind, now I think I love it as much as the original one.
frodo cheeto Interesting hopefully I get to see it for myself. I think I can fall in love with the visuals but I truly doubt I'll ever get over the rerecording of the main theme. The orchestra in the original has such power and feeling, I can hear they believed in what they where playing. It wasn't just sheet music to them, it was a living breathing form of magic. Idk I'm the type that cries when Mickeys on top of the mountain swinging his harms making "magic."
They somehow need to bring the massive animatronic dragon to the WDW version. And I do think 2.0 should come to Hollywood Studios

Katrina Felix Have you ever seen footage of the California. Just so you know, I've never been to Disney Land, or California in my life. I only went to Disney World once in my life, and that was back in 2003, when I was only 12 years old.
Eventually, I saw a video that compared World's version of Fantasmic to Land's version of Fantasmic, and I was awe struck and jealous over the one I didn't get to see in person.
It's just an opinion, if you don't agree with others, then just ignore them, instead of complaining about it.
SpongicX Yes I've seen it and it doesn't look that much different in my opinion. The only things I noticed were a bit different was that WDW's version is a bit longer and Disneyland has a cooler dragon but that's about it. I just don't see why people are saying it's better

I just dont understamd WDW being more popular and more visited youll think their nightime shows would be top notch but nope! Disneyland is still king in this department. Here is a reason why Disney Lands is waaay better than this for u all. Disney Lands show is much brighter and more colorful. As well as some more movies that almost everyone knows and loves! There is more music, bright colors and more water effects. And yes the Dragon is way more detailed. For WDW you're just watching a screen and it's lagging in any effect. It's like a show some college kids would make. No offense to Disney because I absolutely love going to WDW
ChibiFuzzyFox yea wen i go to Disny world i only do the atractions that thay dont hav here at Disnyland. Cus thers alot of shows and atractions that thay have that we dont have here at disnyland. Like Epcot. We dont have that out here. Thay still have the people mover and the Rocket rods at Disny World. Disny land did away with those atrctions back in the 90s. Oh and thay still have the cerresel of progress at DW to. I bet you havint herd of that atraction in years ha? Lol! Disnyland got rid of that sometime back in the 80s. Disny world just has alot more then we do now.
Did you forget that Disneyland’s was like this almost EXACTLY in 2009? Disney World’s can’t go down for refurbishments 3 times in 5 years because of guest demand. Disneyland’s could which is why it got refurbished.
