Yes, rubber feet were on the originals. I have owned two of them. Would like to find an owner's manual for mine.

Yeah I've got the same unit and mine came with feet. Originally it came with feet, I would guess to say that wherever you got it from somebody had taken it apart and just didn't put on the feet or maybe the feet rotted off, I mean that certainly happens

This one wasn't cheap, us$50+us$40 post. I bought it before I found a better one which is on its way now. A Newmark TC4100, us$180+post. Will post a vid when I get it.
However , not a loss. The Sony will be used in my retro quad setup and the Newmark in my main music room. The Newmark handles 4 tape decks so it should be enough. 😃
Yeah, one could get a Dragon for $400 in the day too. That SQ record of DSOTM cost me A$5.75 in the day but I could sell it now for A$100+.

Speaking of switchers, the best thing I've got is a Zektor HDS1 with remote. It's a 6chx4 switcher using relays. Also digital switched (not that I use that part). It was designed to switch 3RGB+stereo+digital in the old HT systems (in the day). It works great for audio, even uses phono sockets.
I bought one new many years ago and love it so much I've been buying them on ebay when they come up. I've now got 4. My idea is to use 2 in parallel to have a 12chx4 for my 11.2 system. As well as the receiver (11.2) I can control the other 3x 12ch inputs with a remote 6ch (2of=12) volume control. I have all the bits. So many projects to do! 😀
