I am first language American English, good tip with rewatching, I would also encourage practicing writing and saying the words out loud that also helps with memorization as well as gets you used to speaking and writing the words and not just knowing them. I have studied other languages and this has helped me. I came to look at the house types and their differences so I can describe things better.
One of the interesting aspects of residential architecture in the United States is the variety. In certain towns one can find all the styles mentioned in the video in the same neighborhood, along with other styles. This is particularly true in California. In fact, sometimes a house might be a combination of styles.
Palladian architecture Prior to the Georgian era, (Which was also prior to the Victorian era) Palladian architecture had been on the rise. This movement was inspired by Venetian architect Andrea Palladio and briefly became popular amongst the British in the mid-17th century before the Civil War took place and the country entered a period of austerity. Some of these buildings along the North Atlantic coast really stand the test of times. The foundation and many of these buildings really stand up to the test of time period
