Thanks for the track, these are top notch! (Someone should really do a Karaoke version of the Original French "disco" version, that would be so much fun to sing along)
Excellent! This is one of my favourites, along with Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, which I'll admit, I was hoping to find on your page! Oh, well. Subscribed anyway! Would you consider doing that one? Your instrumentals are just the best. I loved On My Own, too.
I think this is based off of earlier renditions, they added a lot to most of the songs for the movie, and the changes stuck. Every change does sound better, though, like Enjolras's and the students' parts during the climax of One Day More.
What happened to the ending? "Lamarque is dead, Lamarque - his death is the hour of fate! The people's man - Lamarque his death is the sign we await! On his funeral day they will honor his name, with the light of rebellion ablaze in their eyes! In their candles of grief we will kindle our flame. On the tomb of Lamarque shall the barricades rise! The time is here! Let us welcome it gladly with courage and cheer! They will come one and all! They will come when we call!"
In the school version that I'm in, the song ends at "sign we await!" Most likely to save on time, and also because there are few tenors in high school that can hit the note on "call!"
I used your track in a video of me playing this song as a multitrack trumpet cover. I gave appropriate credit in the end of the video and in the video description. Thanks again for this track!
It's the name of the café the students meet in. "ABC" in French sounds like "abaissés", which means "the lowly". It's a pun on that. The students are often known as "Les Amis de l'ABC", and in the score, this song technically is called "ABC Café" :).
THESE FICTIONAL CHARACTERS MAKE ME SO HAPPY
I know how you feel. I am literally in love with Jehan Prouvaire, and I am an English major, so I do not use the word, 'literally' wrongly.
I could never figure out what those first two lines actually were until now. Thank you.
Am I the only one can't help but laugh at the "MaRiuS You'Re nO lOngEr a ChiLd" part

Same, thanks for the timestamp
I'm using this as background music during the credits of my video! I'm working on a Enjolras x Grantaire short.
Once again sir, you have outdone yourself!!! Yay xxx

The link to your website doesn't work... great tracks!
awesome
Seems like it misses a part after Gavroche's announcement about the death of General Lamarque, "Lamarque ...... they will come when we call!"

They will come when we call!"
that's sort of a reprise that come after the main part of the song.
In the school version that I'm in, the song ends at "sign we await!" Most likely to save on time, and also because there are few tenors in high school that can hit the note on "call!"

Why is it called abc cafe lol
