I survived 100 days, no.. I survived 1000 days, no.. I survived 2000 days! Well, almost.
This is Minecraft but in Hardcore. I'm building a world like Wadzee, Sandiction, Ph1Lza, SB737, aCookieGod, Kolanii, Beppo, LockDownLife, NotNotBrock and others. All with a single life and streamed live multiple days a week.
I had such an awesome hardcore world that I worked on for 2 years. Now it's time to focus up and bounce back so my new series can stand amongst the current hardcore greats or even all time Minecraft favourites such as Grian, Mumbo Jumbo, GoodTimesWithScar, iskall85 and everyone on the Hermitcraft server. Not to forget great builders like SmallishBeans, fWhip and TheMythicalSausageover over on Empires SMP.
This is a magical world built in Vanilla Survival Minecraft. This is my season 2: a Tale of a Loonatic

Season 1 was the best Minecraft thing I have ever seen. Following season 2 has been an absolute blast.

I know your probably never going to read this but Loony, I joined your stream around 2 years ago and watched you build your ocean monument and you have no idea how much it inspired me, you recognized everyone that came to your stream and made everyone feel wanted, you helped me through covid, and your builds made my mind explode. You are my Philza and I just want to thank you. A few weeks ago I saw your video and it brought back so many memories. I found my old ocean monument world and started tearing up. I mean I stopped watching around the time pixlriffs finished his survival series, I thought Minecraft was going downhill and thought I would just quit.

It's really awesome too see all those streams turn into these movies and videos. You're choice of music for this video is perfect, the music at the very end of all the building you did felt really impactful. I enjoy that you attempt to be as thorough as possible when explaining the process that went into your builds. That sand trick is definitely something I’m going to keep in mind for the future. I’m glad I subbed.
Woah! Now imagine having a whole fairy-tale-like city surrounding the mountain that gets less dense and more land-like the more you spread out! Maybe the area around the floating witchhouse could be a bit like "distorted" or additionally "magified", indicating its special being!
Btw. I think that the castle is great but the mountain definitely needs some detailing for it all to come together nicely. At least thats what I think!

That floating house sure is! This sounds really cool! I’m pretty sure I heard loony talk about adding andesite or other stone into the deep shadowed bits of the mountain
I was playing with my nephew with wooden blocks when I had the same realization about of complexity. It's not that hard to build complex stuff, just make the base structure symmetrical, then add a little style to it. It's so cool to see you chose that way to explain it. I'm always happy when I see a new video from you. Keep up the fantastic work!

It'd be really cool if you added a lightning rod to the very top of the castle tower so every time there is a thunderstorm the lightning will strike it. Maybe a way to implement the story as the lightning rod and the purple tree, which I am assuming is magical/ancient and you are preserving it, and the lightning is what is actually keeping the tree alive. And just maybe the tree is what caused all the other flowers and stuff to grow in the base. All things considered its like negative temperatures on the top of the mountain and not much should be able to grow.
Also your editing is just absolutely amazing. Thank you for the amazing content. Keep up the great work.

As i write this paragraph i'm barely even 5 mins into the video, and despite watching you since the start of this world, i'm still amazed by your editing prowess, your building genius and your massive brain, your sandcastle move was so obvious since the start, but it's so good man! I generally tend to design things fully in creative and, although i'm trying to let go of that, i think i'll still do my basic shapes, sizes and proportions in creative, but i'll be sure to take notes for when i want to wing a big project without suffering because i have to move it one block over.
OOOOO, now 8 mins in, and that children's blocks move and explanatioj was one of the best things, like, ever.
Okay, more than halfway through, lost track of time there so quick fire:
- Your approach to farming is something i find really unorthodox, despite completely agreeing
- Your Monument Heist is definitely one of the funniest ways i've seen people collect prismarine lmao, again, not very common approach, but enjoyable to watch happen.
- Just remembering your method of portal linking gives me headaches maaan, i mean, power to you for not using f3, and i too really like maps and lodestone compasses, but still, not even for the portals? you've got some serious dedication to the challenge.
