Hey everyone,
Thought doing a review video would be a great way to start off 2021! Hope you guys were just as surprised as I was to see what deck was revealed to have the plies splitting from the board.
Other than that, hope you guys enjoy this one and I'm very glad to be back! Thanks a bunch for the support and I promise to have more content on the way!

I legit made the exact same rail for under 10$ lmao, for less than the price of that one rail on Teaks website, I was able to make 3 different rails from large cupboard door handles xD and probably even better quality cuz the handles come with 2-3 different length bolts so you can adjust the height of it
The one thing I'll say about Teak, Is the T rail they have is good quality, It's heavy as hell, almost 2lbs. the thing doesn't even budge
Bought a set of wheels from him and a bearing popped out before i even put them on. He replied rather quick but never got it resolved smh
Same happened to me he didn’t do anything to help so joycult in no good.
that's why I ordered illpills wheels they have 1 spare wheel

So many overrated companies out there but everyone is afraid to give negative reviews online. A lot of companies are super unprofessional and have terrible customer service but nobody ever says anything because a popular fingerboarder owns the company. Thanks for your honesty we need more honest reviews.
Sadly I've had to many issues with Joycult. Great wheels, terrible customer service.
That happens when you don’t use enough glue (which ever is used) or when you use to much pressure during the press time…
So it’s something what can happen even to the best…
But I didn’t understand why the support don’t help, that’s something that is normally well known that this can happen, so return and a new one back to you, end of the story…🤷♂
The only time I saw plies split in real skateboards was when humidity got to the board.
Happened to me on an old Alien Workshop deck, Had tried to kickflip a 6 set and when I landed my foot was on the edge of the nose and the impact made my foot slip off and it completely split apart every ply on the nose lol

I've had a skateboard do that, it was a shop deck, gave it to a friend before it split because I got a different shape and his was pretty roughed up, while he was skating it it started splitting, we went down to the shop and they just gave him a new one
I’m make my own dacks and I fingerboarded near the window and my fb flew from the 9th floor to a concrete floor and the only damage was little chip on the tail so.....🤷🏽♂️

i had 3 edition 1’s and none peeled like this... but with that being said, they were all very different feeling.
yeah my teak deck didn’t peel and it was soaking in the sink for like 30 minutes 😭
Did the board come into contact with water? That’s a bummer 😢I’m sure it would have been clean if not falling apart!
Coming from someone whom used to make decks--that happens because of multiple reasons: not enough glue; usually not pressed enough in the mold, or crappy wood
I concur! Most likely not long enough in the mold or bad glue or bad glue job.

This seemed like a sad attempt to make yourself look better as a brand by saying the same thing that we’ve already heard from everyone else.
@@handboardunknown That's not an entirely fair assessment. What else is a manufacturer supposed to do in this situation other than take full accountability, and make it right with the customer? I don't exactly see another option. If he doesn't respond publicly it would probably look even worse, so better late than never. The key difference would be the follow up from all of this and what happens going forward

Usually fingerboards look like that when they ended up in a washing machine by accident. Maybe that’s why he’s not being bothered with this issue because they think it’s user error?
Anyway if people contact me about one of my decks falling apart, it’s a no brainer to just send a new one ASAP.
Even if they thought it was user error why not respond?
some of these fingerboard companies are out of their minds with the prices of their stuff. Proof that high prices don't always mean better products.

Also what these companies won't tell you is some of their products are coming from china and are very cheap to buy but are being sold at 1000% mark up.
And no, without proper mold you can’t save anything when this happens, so that came just from people with too less knowledge…
also don't try civilmade they don't have good customer service very yucks
yellow wood decks, do not like myself. use to love the brand as a kid. now i got a hold of them and will not be buying decks from them
I think its because of the fact that they might not have added the necessary amount of glue on that ply.
Not enough glue or the glue is incompatible with vaneer.
I got a tech deck performance series it’s been one month and the plus are already falling apart
No fingerboard deck should be more than a real skateboard deck (IMO)

Teak literally just sells China Broken knuckle decks and just put their stamp or laser engraving I’m unsubbing just for the fact that you support them man, sad I don’t understand why people still support them, I mean idk you probs got some free stuff or money but I wouldn’t promote such a capitalist brand

My order had shipping problems and got sent back so I contacted him abt it and he send me the wheels and extras @cheems
They took 2 months to ship out some blem og wheels i bought so they sent me some pro bowl wheels and the bearings tend to pop out

Ive seen this happen in one of my decks i made, it can do that if you use cheap glue or if it got soaked
Yep…probly helps to not run it thru washer 😅I ran another board thru the washer in my pants and it did the same thing. Not sure what happened here but I don’t recommend trying it and avoid getting wet .
Unfollowed Joycult multiple months ago, and stopped purchasing from them even longer. A bunch of fools tryna get one over on younger kids.

Lab wheels has copied a lot from joycult. In some cases directly ripping off their advertising and their wheel designs. The thing is, lab wheels did what joycult could never do. Provide a good quality product with decent customer service. I say decent because I've dm'd them about the differences between some of their wheels size wise. However they never responded, but other people seemingly have had good experience

you might be able to superglue it back together, but no customer should need to. $60 should not have it split like that.

That sucks because you pay full price for that then it does that. What would be really cool if a deck does it again you could recreate the Braille skate video we’re they put a Walmart board in nail polish remover that would be really cool! Keep up the good work!

Supposedly he's been going through old emails and stuff, as said on joycult IG, saying hes been caught up around last week
The decks and trucks are bad but the joycult wheels are great
did you spill acetone or nail polish remover on it because that can make that happen
