I think it was about 1977/78 that i saw this remarkarble group perform on their debut night at Balham 200 night club, i remembered that night very well as my brothers sound was playing in support of The Investigators by the name of PIPERS DISCO which was a Soul & Reggae sound! Overall, it was a night of enjoyment and good vibes!
This is such a great tune. Really captures Lovers Rock days. But it's the flipside to this 12 that really shows the calibre of the Investigators. Tune called 'Love and Live'. That's the one for me. So potent! Respect and to Michael Gordon and Investigators for so much good music. Music that matters. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Your right! Where have all the good times gone? To me, the youts of today don't know how to rave, instead it seems that when it comes to reggae music, especially those that's into bashment, are only into daggering. And they say we have to move with the times! LOL.
Count Robbie not me mate,i live in ja now and all my kids know all my tunes and my dads tunes, the way they dress nowadays says a lot, i remember saving up to buy clothes at temples
Count Robbie clapham north, near the baths on manor street, shamrock street, temples was the place to shop, loli had every colour farahs, fred perry shirts, cecil g v neck sweaters,a few cecil g,s, not to mention the wicked silk shirts, thoes were the days were boys and girls knew how to dress
