My favorite and also the most tear jerking part of this movie for me is Nimona’s “roar” which is just a wailing scream. No matter how many times I hear it, it always brings me to tears.
The cereal commercial jingle is the theme song to the boomer-era kids TV show The Banana Splits. The version that plays when Nimona turns into Kwispy is actually a punk cover from more than a decade later (1979).
This is up there with "Next Gen" on Netflix as an anti hero tear jerker Mega awesome story film! But Nimona is a must family watch! Over n over again! !Metal! 🤘😼🤘
@@Metzwerg74 yeah it's Awesome with a fantastic battle scene at the end, an the robot "77" has to full system reset an delete all the memories it's made with the girl "may" just makes me cry every time I watch it with my kids! ( I also have the soundtrack as it's beautiful ❤️) but I hope u agreed with my comment 🙏
I haven't looked into it, but it looks like either 3D rendered like 2D, or a mix of both 3D and 2D. Which I think matches the film in terms of aesthetics. Sci-fi is often elaborate and hyper detailed, which works for 3D. And medieval stories are not only often very two dimensional, but the medieval time period also sparked a lot of fairytales, which are traditionally depicted in a 2D style, much like the story at the beginning of the movie.
If you love this movie then unite all those to force convince Disney to bring back Blue Sky Studios so they can make more movies like this and since disney rejected it and right now it's suffering so much then it would have saved them but sucks on disney now so join and help bring blue sky studios back!
Maybe the studio that brought Nimona to life can help and wanna buy reopen Blue Sky Studios since according to disney it doesn't belong to them anymore!
Honestly, let us HOPE that’s true! Blue sky did some good stuff, some bad stuff *ice ages 4-5 cough*, but they still made decent stuff that I enjoyed. Disney is kinda mid atm 😬
