Glad you picked one up. I love mine. I picked the Tan body to match my Tomy Pocket car 1/64 diescast from when I was a kid. Hopefully they are successful with these kits and come out with more bodies in the future.
Excellent build video. Your video moves right along. Pleasure to watch start to finish. I’m a big fan of the FJ40 and Hardbody did a great job recreating it in 1/24 scale. My wife gifted me this blue body on my 71 st birthday. I will be replacing the C10 body. I’m hoping I can move the bumper lights into the headlights buckets. Won’t say no wherever it goes, Land Cruiser.
Thank you and happy belated birthday. I moved the bumper lights from mine into the headlight position. I don't know if that was in the video or not. But it does work!
I had one on order a few weeks ago and then cancelled it. Oh well. I've got at least half a dozen other projects I need to focus on. These look good, though. But I also don't want to have to buy another SCX just to run one. Maybe I have enough spare parts to get me there.
Do you know what would be really cool later on is if you designed your own hardbody RC vehicle do you know exactly what parts work and what not to use I’m sure it would be a headache for you, but I’m sure people would be amazed with what you come up with and your product I’m so tired of the RC4WD, but pretty happy with boom racing. I think it’s in your blood.
Body price? OK, but paying $27.99 and $29.99 for the front and rear bumpers, respectively, is over-the-top pricey and a way to get more money from the consumer. 💸💸

@@turksandjerps Great to hear. Thanx for the information.
Thanks!
Impressive! Makes the SCX24 a respectable rig once you replace the cheap Lexan bubble body with this.
Yes, lexan bad!
This's a great body kit. 😲
I agree
That tips the breaking point to want to get an axial 1/24 rig. It looks great!
I never thought I’d be into small scale this much
I need one now! I was looking at these just last night LOL. Now I don't know if I have a choice any more lol
Did you get one yet?
Can't wait to see what you do with it!
This is super cool. Looks like lots of thought went into making a pretty idiot-proof conversion. Hope they have dreams for larger scales.
I’m the proof that it is, in fact, idiot-proof. I assembled it without hurting myself or losing a finger.
Sooooo cool!!!!
Amazing model fellas! Lada Niva next? 😊
@@rcgoodtimes6657 There's a 1/18 Lada Niva?
No words.
Too many words. Try again with less words.
No 😮
When will you saw things in half though? We all know it's going to happen.
I don’t do that anymore. I build kits per the instruction manual only now.
Love the Land Cruiser body! It needs oil filled shocks though imo. I wonder if the new small proline shocks are good for this build
Was thinking the same thing and might try the proline shocks.
I have my tan fj on Injora oil filled shocks with a 3rd of the oil taken out and its just amazing.

Having too many projects has never been a reason for me to not start another project
Just found your channel. Cool stuff! New subber!
Awesome, thank you!
Is there a way reroute the leds from the front bumper to the light buckets? Maybe get a softer yellow to look more era appropriate?
I’d say there probably is a way to do that but I shan’t be bothered to do it

I appreciate the nice words but I’m definitely not the right person to do that. I lack the skills, time and money to produce a hardbody.
Are the screws JIS?
No, thank goodness
Epic bro!! Where did you get that body?
It says who made it in the title. And on the box when he started.
@@joshuagregg7579 Bro, he don't have time to look! He wants Daddy to tell him 🤣
Did you make, this body?
Hello. Did you watch the video?
@@turksandjerps I think so, but its all a blur.
Will this work on the bronco frame?
SCX24? Yes, it should

That isn’t new a concept. Save the money and build your own bumpers if you want them. I’m not buying the bumpers for this, nor the matching wheels.
