I don’t know anyone personally. However, I have heard families who use there resources for littles love it! I would also encourage you to look into Five In A Row 🙂
I did their kindergarten. It’s more like a pre-school curriculum for the reading and then it picks up in first grade. I wanted to get my kindergartner reading sooner. Very fun we loved it! I Just added Saxon math k and teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons. This year I can’t decide between MFW or son-light?
@@oodlesofdoodles8389 thank you. I’ve done my own PreK this year and used “teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons” that book works wonders. We are on lesson 84 and he is reading.
And Sonlight! We have been using Sonlight this year. My daughter LOVES all the books. 📚 If I wasn’t using Sonlight, My Father’s World would DEFINITELY be my next choice.
Thanks for talking about your library not having all of the books. We live in the middle of nowhere as well and our library having the books was one of the issues that I thought I might have with this curriculum. I'm actually looking at this as a geography curriculum for next year, not the spine. I think you made this video just for me!!! Did you use the supplemental materials for your son or was it good for him to be in the standard plan with no supplements? Thank you so much.
I did not use the supplement materials for my son. I felt like what was there was enough. We did however use the globe a lot and I would ask him to show where a location was and what specific terms meant.
I have been looking into a few different history/geography curriculums for my upper elementary kids for next year. This video was very helpful and thorough. Thank you!!
Thank you for being so detailed in this review. I looked at My Father's World, but it seems like it would be too much for 1 child; however, it does seem to be all around great. I struggle with putting a morning basket together and what to learn/when to learn it lol I need directions all the time. Great to hear from you Ladonna!
Better study origami in Japan, it's where it comes from. Too many books. I will never get the "read aloud" concept, you already read, the kids are who need to learn how to do it.
How long does it take to complete the science and geography per day? Do you use another curriculum for history as well?
I’ve been looking into this curriculum for my little guy for kinder in august. Do you know anyone who did kindergarten with them?

@@jordynchumley1070 wow so good! Is your child already writing?
If so I’d say just get the first grade level.
Ohhhhh so many great books that I’d love to add to our homeschool. Especially the missionaries stories.
We love it!
This is helpful. Thank you, thank you!!!
You’re very welcome!

YES! And Sonlight! I knew I was forgetting one 😉

If we have already read some or all of the missionary stories do you think we could sub out different books?
Absolutely!

I totally understand that! Thanks for watching😃
Are you sure you haven’t been homeschooling from the beginning?! You’re amazing! ❤️🥰
You are so kind, thank you! I really do wish I had started from the
beginning❤️
What do you use for Bible
We use a Foundations. It is a Bible reading plan for kids 🙂
