Nice video. A few things could have been done differently to improve the process and safeguard the entire cooling system, first drain the radiator to remove all old rusty water, then add the cleaning chemical to flush it. This will enhance flushing efficiency and allow the entire cycle to be done just once. After draining the cleaning chemical water, fill the system with clean water, run the engine for 10 minutes and then drain. This will ensure that the water in the engine block also gets drained. Now the last cycle comes, add coolant concentrate and fill with adequate water. Using concentrate will be cheaper and environmentally responsible, you will only need one bottle of coolant vs four or five bottles. Don't forget to flush the radiator reservoir tank as it is filled with rust particles which will come back into the cooling system. If you can't remove the thermostat valve for this entire flushing procedure, then run the engine in all three cycles of cleaning, flushing and coolant filling till the radiator fan comes on. Make sure to follow the directions on the cleaning chemical bottle as these are harsh chemicals and can cause leakage in the radiator or metal pitting of the water circuit in the engine block, if improperly used.

But the actual reason why the previous owner was using it on water is because it has a leak somewhere. You didn't fix that and instead just shifted to coolant. It will keep leaking and you will have to top it up regularly, mehnga parey ga kafi

Always use coolent with water. Ac water is better. Pure coolant may damage your cooling system specially for old cars.
We can clean the Radiator Rust with Citric Acid Powder which is called ( Tatri ) in Urdu, it is easily in any mart, it is used in making Chat. It is little cheaper, it can be used for other things too. Using tatri for rust removing is simple and easy mix 100g of tatri in warm water and put any thing in that water the rust will vanish after 10 to 15 minutes. Price of 100g of tatri is Rs. 100, tatri dissolves in water so it will not choke radiator cooling system.

I wanted to ask a very common thought that comes into every used old car owners like 15 or 20 year old cars. Now whenever you ask a Machanic that you're using car on Normal water and now wanna flush it and move to coolent so whether one should use radiator flush or not cause yes it is rust cleaner. Now the problem with old cars it that their pipes and waterbody because or water had already been rusted and common sense says it might leak any pipes or waterbody because of it's rust cleaning chemicals. The machanics always suggest that. Owner's of Cars and radiators like Zille Subhan's must not use radiator flush which might leak the waterbody or like in my case, my suzuki khuber's piped because of extentive rust suffered minor leaks.
Question:
Now Sir, as the video didn't tell us the Expert opinion of Pakwheels in this regard that whether it's just a mith and it was my bad luck that i happened to me or actually it happens and one should only drain the radiator and use coolent only instead.

If the parts are too rusty and it's a good sign that you are able to see the leaking and after replacing those parts, car can be permanently shifted to coolant

Check the owner's manual, the company filled coolant usually lasts 60,000 km, but check your owner's manual.

Depends, if you're using a concentrate coolant then you have to use 50% water and 50 % coolant .
If you're using premixed coolant then you don't need to add water it's already mixed with appropriate amount of water .

2. Authentic brands are somewhat difficult to find. (Everybody selling his own "CHOORAN").
3. WRONG PREPARATION WITH TAP WATER IF USING CONCENTRATED PRODUCT. USE AC/DISTILLED WATER ONLY. TAP WATER HAS SALTS.
TAP WATER PROS:
1. Available everywhere
2. Top up is easy
Cons:
1. Contains salts
2. No rust protection
3. Gradually builds sludge (rust+salt) and blocks cooling lines/galleries.
4. FREEZES IN COLD AREAS
DISTILLED/AC WATER IS BETTER THAN TAP WATER. NO SALTS. BUT RUST CAN DEVELOP. WHEN USING DISTILLED WATER YOU CAN PREVENT RUST BY EXTENSIVE FLUSHING TWICE A YEAR. IN HOT AREAS DISTILLED/AC WATER CAN BE SAFELY USED.

Never use it on old radiators because it will surely remove the rust but ur radiator will start leaking from different places... So if ur radiator is not that old then u do it otherwise it's a no no...

It's not just in Suzuki, any car that uses water instead of coolant has has rust . The Reason you see it alot in Suzuki cars is because its owners usually neglect there car . Other brand owners like Toyota and Honda maintain there cars with coolants and regular oil changes .

Your process of radiator flush is completely wrong. First, remove the bottom hose of the radiator when your car is at normal temperature (after running for 15 minutes) and flush the whole water. Then refix the hose and fill the water body with fresh water mixed with radiator flush additive (any product that suits your budget) then start the car, get it to the temperature where the thermostat valve opens and the fan starts. Now again repeat the process, remove the bottom hose and flush the whole water in the body. Now refix the hose and fill the radiator with coolant. you are good to go now. 🙂

Sweep contains HCL, which dissolves metal and also removes salt deposits from engine galleries. Salt deposit removal is more important as it builds in galleries with time when tap water is used in the engine.
DON'T FORGET TO FLUSH CABIN HEATER SYSTEM TOO AS IT GETS THE WORST DUMP OF SALT ND RUST SLUDGE DEPOSITION ESPECIALLY IN SUMMERS WHEN WE MANUALLY BLOCK THIS SYSTEM WITH MANUAL VALVES.
Coolant of any authentic company (caltex) can be used in the system but is costly.
The cheap alternative is AC water (which has no salts) or distilled water like battery top-up brands.
This is called DIY.

Phir waqfe waqfe se kuchh din baad storage bottle check kerte rehain. Rust ziada ho again repeat the process. Pani nikal ker fresh water with dettol. Do teen baar kerne ke baad aap duain dain ge mujhe.
