Last sunday we saw him and Sabaton live in Uddevalla, Sweden. They played Thunderstruck with Tommy on vocals, but we in the audience changed the lyrics to "Tommy!" and "Tommystruck!". It was the best evenening in many years. 🙂
He's sooooo amazing guitarplayer and vocalist as well!
This is Tommy's best cover yet, just spectacular. He shows both his guitar and vocal skills. When it comes to showing off, there is a fun bit in Sabaton's live performances of Steel Commanders (at least , the ones from last year): Chris and Tommy play synchronized solo and at one point they take each other's right hand and keep holding hands while playing the frets with their left. To me (as someone who doesn't play guitar), it's quite impressive

I tried to learn to play the riff on an acoustic guitar. It took me a week - to play it in half the speed. Then I gave up... Tommy really goes all in here, both on vocals and the guitar

What doesn't Tommy do to a guitar in this cover? I have NO clue about guitar technics, but am impressed with the different ways Tommy display here.

I've been catching up on some of your reaction vids (mostly Tommy and Home Free), so this is a bit out of order, having seen more recent ones. I have to say, though, I really enjoy all your reactions; it's true you're not the only musician reactor, but you make some unique observations and notice some things others don't. You also sing along sometimes, which I know might bug some people, but I like it. Overall, you have fun, and don't take yourself too seriously. Just wanted you to know you're appreciated. ☺😎
