It's so sad that this kind of humour is no longer allowed. Showing how ignorant and stupid racists are is the best way to stamp racism out. If we all laugh at the morons maybe they'll shut up.
Everyone Cleavon Little aka Sheriff Bart eased one of other actor named Burton Gilliam aka Lyle, Taggart's right-hand man/henchman after Burton had a problem with saying the "N" word. Cleavon told Burton that it was ok because that word is in the script. We have to give credit to Mel Brooks and late great Richard Pryor as they co-written the screenplay.
There's lots of trivia and analysis of this movie. But, I'd like to hear more about the casting and direction. Imagine instructing these actors to deliver their lines in a certain way. Yeesh!
The only people who say that are people who just want to use the word used in this clip to put others down-in other words, the kind of people Mel Brooks made this movie to _mock_ . Up yours, scumbag.
@lonsharp Millennials and gen z'ers. The "can't say that word" crowd. Oh and people like you who thinks everyone is a racist if they don't agree with you.
@@lw3918 what makes you think my feelings were hurt? I’ve probably been laughing this movie a lot longer than you have. You’re the only one that sounds offended.
To be fair i have a feeling she would said up yours to just about anybody in town she was getting hit. She probably didnt know the sheriffs name either
The line "You know....morons." Was improvised and Cleavon's laugh was genuine. LOL!
IMHO, it makes that scene even better
It wasn't true improve, but Cleavon didn't know about it.
The crew behind the camera knew it was coming though
“Hey where are the white women at?”
I almost choked on my sprite first time watching this movie!
They said you was hung- And they was right!

Cleavon Little was a wonderful actor. His performance in this movie elevated the whole film to another level.
That laugh after "morons" is my favorite movie laugh ever.
The best part is "You know, morons?" The reaction should be to that line.
Mel Brooks parodied every kind of ignorance and racism. He showed kids that we are all screwed, but we can all try together.
I love how she says the one at the window so casually lol
That old lady is a brilliant actress.
Please do a compilation of reactions to Mongo punching the horse.
There is one from a different channel that’s out there.
I really enjoy these compilations.

Funniest movie ever.
7:57 Man I never heard of Popcorn Reactions but, just seeing their clip here, they are easily the GOAT of reactions am I right
Has to be the most funniest movie going, Mel Brooks said the only way to fight racism is to make fun of it.
And who would have thought that scene would be so relevant still, today😂😂😂😂
why it take me to jackie chan in the OG rush hour😆
Did the algorithm recommend the bar fight from Rush Hour?
Man,I did not expect the first reactor shucking and jiving after that line.
President Obama when he helped conservatives...
Obama was a house one. He accomplished nothing during his terms as president.
And now 2025 White America
An intelligent person, when they help you.
I'm glad you can laugh at this, it is a real send up of racist moirés. Unfortunately, it could not be made today, even as satire.
Do when Mongo punches the horse
When comedy was funny and people didn't get their feelings hurt.
Nope my feelings weren't hurt this was so funny 🤣
The only people who say that are people who just want to use the word used in this clip to put others down-in other words, the kind of people Mel Brooks made this movie to _mock_ . Up yours, scumbag.
Whose feelings got hurt? The only ones offended by this are the racists it was meant to offend.
@lonsharp Millennials and gen z'ers. The "can't say that word" crowd. Oh and people like you who thinks everyone is a racist if they don't agree with you.

You’re the only one that sounds offended.
So you censor the word that's the whole reason for the video
That makes no sense
Make your videos for over 18 and you don't have to censor anything
And it was clearly spelled out in the subtitles.
To be fair i have a feeling she would said up yours to just about anybody in town she was getting hit. She probably didnt know the sheriffs name either
If ya can't post the full lines don't post it at all
You are doing a disservice to Richard Pryor and all the actors in this movie
Why are all these reactors black
Youse raycis
