First of all you must be a good bloke with Andrew as a name :) Man I've been an intermediate guitarist for so long but your videos and practical roadmaps have caused me to improve my style from knowing guitar positioning so much better. Thanks so much for sharing your super sound knowledge and techniques. Your'e a definite legend.
The technique for Chris buck is called a grace note it is very similar to a flam on the drums where there is a smaller quiet note and a much louder target note. I'm mainly a drummer more than a guitarist and this technique seems to be the closest to a flam I've seen so I think it's safe to say it's called a grace note! Love the content btw just found your channel and it has been super helpful so far thanks so much and keep it up!
Just discovered your channel, and I am so happy I did. You're a great guitarist and teacher. Thank you for the quality content!

I've found muting with the thumb to be really helpful for rake bends as well.
