This was one of the first sets I saw broadcast live at a local. All the players were crowded around one TV chanting "AC! AC! AC!" It was absolutely exhilarating and it's part of what made me love competitive Smash.
There's this joke at the competitive scene of Smash (any Smash) that says all tournaments and matches are scripted. That they plan tournaments in advance and say "Leo vs Ally will be this year's Genesis Grand Finals. Leo will win", and all the attendants know this and follow the script :v "It was scripted" that Abadango was gonna win so AC just killed himself there cause he remembered :'v
The Smash Illuminati strikes again lol but lets be real guys, if money is the motive to "Script" smash tourneys then it's not a big one since other competitive game scenes (Street fighter, COD, UMVC, Counter strike...) have a bigger fan base and more cash flow. "Doesn't make money, doesn't make sense." But who knows, I might be with the Smash-inati, we're always watching. lol
EwertonML Keitaro and Osiris did very well tho, and Cyro is amazing but he can't often go to tournaments and when he do he picks Cloud. I know that Anragon from France is very good too. Thanks for mentioning Daybreak, I don't know much of him, I'll check !
I remember watching this live. It was being played on a big TV everyone was crowding around and we all lost our fucking minds whenever anything happened.
Guarantee his SD was him wanting double jump dair. You enter it by rolling from X to A while pressing down because you need a faster input than C-stick since the move comes out so slowly. Since you are rising it keeps you from fast falling but it looks like he missed the jump input so he just fast fell to his death, stuck in a laggy move
Wow AC did so well against Abadango! If only he would have won, it would have been yet ANOTHER insane upset. And by a Falco no less. Man, Civil War was an amazing tournament (besides Dabuz winning lol) and I think it has changed the Smash 4 meta entirely.
at 0:48 this girl says Abadango with a lead a very strong lead lol they barely even did anything what is going on!?! silentdoom need to give some lessons out . WERS D1?
Nerves got to AC! Don't get me wrong - I think Falco's really good and there's good reason to play him in tournament - but if there's one character that needs you to be clutch it's Falco. Still WP!
I think i just realized why everyone else thinks these two commentators are bad. They have tendencies to say absolutely nothing and then just start yelling( like no progression, just yelling) when someone is obviously about to die. Therefore isn't really covering most of the game at all. Also both of them calling Abadango the wrong name sort of tilted me for a good moment live.
Molight Violet both forward tilt (at low percent) and reflector can lock, but with any of those Abadango would slide off stage, maybe laser could've worked though
Actually, when considering the recent months of smash 4, as well as each players' respective success during that time, I would compare them almost completely differently. Also, since you have PPMD in there, I'm going to assume that you're comparing the smash 4 players to melee gods pre-2016, because Apex 2015 was really the last time I would say PPMD performed at his peak level, due to the many problems that led to his gradual decline. I would equate Zero to Armada. Both are dominant players who definitively held first place in their respective smash games for a long period of time. I would equate MK Leo to Hbox, considering that he's very consistent(ignoring Civil War at the moment, because the entire thing was topsy turvy) when not facing a top 10 player, and even then he wins more often than not. He's widely regarded as the second best, from what I've seen, and the only player Zero struggles with and faces often in tournament(Zero struggles with Ally too a lot of the time but they play every couple of months, at best, while Zero and MK Leo have played much more, recently, than Zero and Ally). He could also arguably be compared to Leffen, as someone who wasn't definitively regarded as one of the top players in the world until the past six or seven months(if we were talking about 2017 gods, I wouldn't make this comparison, but because you used PPMD . . .) I would equate Nairo to Mew2King, simply because they're both top players in their respective games(ignoring the fact that M2K is a top smash 4 player and only comparing Nairo to melee god M2K) and yet they both rarely reach grand finals in a major. Ranai is a lot more difficult, because he isn't as prominent in the US, despite being a top player in Japan. I'm not sure I would equate him to a god, considering that he's fallen to number 6 in the Japanese power rankings and hasn't had any truly amazing showings in the US as of yet. He's had some great sets but his tournament placings in the US so far seem meh. I do agree with you about Ally being similar to Mango. He's had wildly inconsistent placings in the past few months, but when he's on, he's ON. He could also be compared to PPMD, if we're talking about 2016 gods, due to the fact that he's had Zero(my chosen Armada equivalent)'s number in the past, and was, for quite a while, regarded as the second best player in the world.
Honestly both commentators are pretty poor! Incorrectly named moves, delayed reactions and silent patches, they don't really add anything to the video. I just mute it and watched it with some background music :D
Franchezco Lamont I think you're forgetting she's human. Commentary is incredibly hard to do well, and she made it interesting. She's very knowledgeable, and broke down the game well.
I think they were both a little poor but maybe it's the vibe of the event. Both seemed to have decent knowledge though. (I mainly watch Melee so idk if that affects my view)
4:36 SHOOTING STAR MEME FOR THIS PLEASE.
This was one of the first sets I saw broadcast live at a local. All the players were crowded around one TV chanting "AC! AC! AC!" It was absolutely exhilarating and it's part of what made me love competitive Smash.
4:36 He remembered to follow the script lol
ikr lol. all smash games are scripted
Eh? Can I get an explanation? :'D

I literally looked away for like two seconds and then that happened. I was so confused lol

Badkitty239 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Dann that's cool to see a falco.
alexander ibarra that's how I watch all my matches
alexander ibarra right 💯
does anyone think AC prefers the air?
I think AC prefers the shadow realm 4:38
Claudia Garcia nah! that's just what happens when you forget to check your G diffuser.
Man ac is doing really, well with falco, maybe zero was right with his tier list
AC is likely the sole reason falco got bumped up on his tier list.
AC is amazing I knew that he was the best Falco unlike Keitaro
Lucky Gonzalez AC and Daybreak are the best Falcos in this game
EwertonML Keitaro and Osiris did very well tho, and Cyro is amazing but he can't often go to tournaments and when he do he picks Cloud. I know that Anragon from France is very good too. Thanks for mentioning Daybreak, I don't know much of him, I'll check !
Lucky Gonzalez Keitaro don't try to play at his best anymore, Osiris is ok and I only watch Cyro's match once and he go for Cloud :/
EwertonML Yep that's a bit disappointing from Cyro but eh, he tries to win. Go on his channel and watch his online matches, these are pretty cool
Can ATARi get some love too :( I'm the best Falco in new england...I think...
Anragon is pleased to see a bird
I remember watching this live. It was being played on a big TV everyone was crowding around and we all lost our fucking minds whenever anything happened.

8:13 It's like Abadango just realized he had a reflector move too >.>

Glad to see a fellow bird in action. #freebird
Falcos back Air is prolly top 5 and if not the best back air

sin comentarios
SMDH, AC had this match!! Because of his clumsy recovery and SD, he practically GAVE this match to Abadango, smh.

AC - A Clutz, 2 sds game 2 :(
I also find it funny how his name is Pronounced “Aba-dongo” but this little kid says it as it’s spelled 😂 Abadanego
it irritates me that they say あばでんご and not あばだんご :[
@5:48 worst commentary i’ve ever heard before, “LoOk At ThIs, JaB jAb JaB jAb JaB jAb” its called a freaking jab cancel, man
Falco...
I honestly can't watch any other mewtwo because aba is just too good. Everyone else just doesn't stand up to the hype aba brings.
Thats None Of My Business wadi?
魅せるなーあばさん
Ac you had a reset there XD after the dash attack
Molight Violet both forward tilt (at low percent) and reflector can lock, but with any of those Abadango would slide off stage, maybe laser could've worked though
seriously the worst commentators the both of them
ally = MangoRanai = ArmadaMk Leo = Ppmd Zero = LeffenNairo= hbox
Erik Mercado I disagree.

Can white people pronouce fricken Abadangos name right?? Its A-ba-dan-go not A-ba-dang-go.
mcmofo690 you spelt it exactly the same both times.
fcnator he really didn't lol
The female commentator is pretty horrible. Loud and horrible. You see projectiles ping-pong and you say baseball.
Honestly both commentators are pretty poor! Incorrectly named moves, delayed reactions and silent patches, they don't really add anything to the video. I just mute it and watched it with some background music :D

I just watched this again and thought both of them were pretty poor.
(Watch a lil' more Smash 4 since the last time I saw this)
