Third Strike is a way of having a little control when everything else feels like its out of your control. With 3S, you can practice for hours a day and know you'll reach your goal of becoming good. He is regarded as one of the best players in the game by MOV and Daigo. His current situation is unknown to me though, he was charged for having a relationship with a minor but I don't know how that ended.
