I think these cookies are viable in other things than PvP, which is still a good thing so you can use your favourite cookie regardless outside of PvP. And making cookies better than the last epic would be pretty tough and would create a high expectation from the players which can make a game unhealthy. And having a bad cookie also allows players to prepare more materials for a better one

There were only 2 non meta cookies that was released back to back and that’s totally okay cuz it would be to heck tick if every single cookie that was released was meta especially for f2p

This game really needs balance changes. Ik it might sound horrible but even if they made them super small nerfs/buffs each update until they become balanced/fall out of the meta which will give time to people to upgrade other cookies. Game is too unbalanced as power creep occurs since WL, FQ, Financier, EF, Snapdragon and all the other OP cookies won’t fall out of the meta until a cookie better than them gets released

They can't nerf a character in a gacha game. They could buff them tho

@@itscraxii7289Why though? For example, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars have a gacha system in them, yet both receive nerfs and buffs frequently. Clearly, it becomes harder and harder to beat off the previous meta Cookie. What is really stopping them from doing more meaningful balance changes?
I guess someone in devsisters reminded them that they were making to many op cookies and should make a bad one.
Unpopular opinion: I don't mind Devsis Releasing "meh" cookies (not every cookie has to be perfectly optimized for every game mode) but it's just unfortunate when good character designs are wasted on weak cookies that are difficult to use all around

Imo I think it's a good thing for her not to be meta as we get to save resources atm. Also, it's possible that they'll throw us an upcoming event/future game mode where her skill is later required, just like Linzer. Not every new cookie must be a MUST have, think of the poor F2Ps, lol.
Homie it's been 4 months without a good cookie, it's about time something came out that wasn't filler trash.
@@mrfandangojimmies7117 We had Elder Faerie whose release was less than 2 months ago. If anything I'm grateful that I currently can just focus on my older cookies, stuffs like Financier's Magic Candy or Frost Queen's Soul Jam, & not worrying much about Arena's competitiveness.

She kinda looks like a Tarte Tatan case where she excels in PVE instead of Arena based on the high amount of damage dealt to the boss. I'm afraid she just can't be meta because there are just too many good damage dealers nowadays, but at least she looks useful compared to Choux
I have over 250K crystals since a meta epic hasn't come out since creme brulee. I just want to blow my savings on something atp.
Well, perhaps she’ll see some use in alliance… at least she does something new, so it’s an improvement over Choux

NOOOO I was hoping for street urchin to be meta! LOL maybe she’ll have use in the future episodes? at least I’ll save my crystals 😅
In my opinion the only way they can revive fire/burn team back to meta is if they add a cookie that can heal the entire team depending on how much burn stacks your enemy has. Because currently the fire team (urchin, pitaya, capsaicin) is very squishy and can easily lose against the current meta comps.
Adding a defense cookie that makes your team tankier the more burn stacks you apply to enemies can also help fire team come back to meta.
Well, Cream Unicorn was supposed to be the fire healer, but their numbers were just not good enough 😔
i did some testing in living abyss (with her only at level 50 with full almond) with doughnut, rebel, rockstar, street urchin, and black raisin, and she actually was the top dps. i think she might be viable.
I got her ascended and got even my first White Lily !!! ❤

I’d rather see more niche cookies that only work in certain areas than having new gamebreaking meta cookies. I don’t like the recycling of old top tier all around units for new top tier all around units.
I’m glad they’re not releasing one arena breaker after another so I’m fine with these new cookies being good for guild battles or a raid boss. It’s extremely frustrating to put all your resources into a cookie only to have it fall off the meta in one or two updates.

Why is everyone complaining in coments that they relase non meta cookies? Like u want the cookies relased more than month ago become suddently useless because new ones relased? I feel like street urchin would make a really great center to build fire-type cookie team but the problem is that the fire-type cookies in crk rn are too impractical. Like there is no fire-type cookies that can be as strong of a dps as creme brulee or a buffer/tanker as effective as madeline and financier.
We need a fire dmg legendary so fire comps get a crytal jam🙏🙏
She's is pretty good for the living abyss she deals massive fire damage if you combine her with someone like capsaicin/pitaya, plus rebel cookie, recommend full CD so she scan spam her skill, every 6-5 seconds (with jellywatch)
Not really..she kills the blob which prevents you from actually doing dmg sadly

Someone tested her in sublime cake tower and beat one of the trays thanks to her. Now she's usable no longer useless.
She’s actually kinda strong at max lvl and 2 star she’s as strong as my max lvl 1 star White Lily so I think she’s pretty good!
Sweet Urchin cookie is not exactly As useless as caramel shoe But unless you seriously need her for Exploration or Alliance then Only Pull her to get a one star promotion It is shame cause she looks so cool

Devsisters was so good about mixing up the meta with small tweaks and updates (magic candy, solid supports, special toppings etc) and then suddenly there's been a wave of useless characters. Last good Epic we got was Creme Brulee. He's dying off the meta and there's not really been an Epic to replace him or to build for counters. We need new teams to build to keep it interesting; it's a bad sign when the meta team comps stay the same for this long after the release of several new characters.

Not really, Moonlight Cookie is Magic but her skill makes her avoid the enemy attacks. Yes, it’s a trait of all ambush cookies, but a few non-ambush also have this ability

Here’s the deal - make a “meh” cookie then make it RARE! What’s the point of “rare” anymore? If it’s bad, then it’s bad. Make all cookies useful for something regardless of the rarity, and then gear them towards certain game modes. “This one sucks for this b it is good for this, this one does this but not this” and so on. Hayward of “This one is trash and this cookie is like Jesus but let’s give them both God rank.”
I swear, we went from too much Meta Changes and too much non Epic characters to way to much Epics and way too little Meta changes. Not sure what is for the best

Brulee, blackberry, twizzly, mint choco,puff(w mc) it's also used in higher lvl aod
The same team as the high level, just try to get atk speed for brulee and twizzly as high as possible so they can kill the boss before the first pillar drop

I expected for cream uni to still not be meta considering how lousy the mc is despite the fact that the point of the mc's are to actually make the cookie useful again...
