The shade is from it being related to Underfell, really gives it that murderous vibe since all the characters are turned to wanting to kill the human much more badly. I like it too 👌
At the end of the underfell genocide run the player will encounter Chara. Chara is understandably upset, she just watched frisk kill everyone she ever cared about. Usually she just absorbs the other 6 human souls and resets the timeline, forcing the player to do either do a different route, or have to do it all over again. After hundreds of genocide runs, Chara is driven to insanity by grief after losing everyone she ever cared about over and over and OVER again. Upon the next reset Chara doesn't cower in fear of the players genocide run like usual... she goes straight for the weakest monster, sans, a pitifully low attack and defense stat as well as mediocre LV makes his mind easy to take over and control. This allows her to interact with the corporeal world via her vessel. While the monsters are used to fighting in deadly confrontations, they are all taken aback by sans surprise boost in skill. (Papyrus can one shot sans if he wanted to.) But not only that, he seemed to survive blows that would have been fatal... Chara's determination keeps him alive. She uses him to kill everyone, not a single monster is left for you to kill. Meaning that your LV 1 and sans is LV 98. Seems pretty fair to me... When you knock sans hp to extremely low, something happens, Chara kills him, absorbing all the exp and LV her vessel had graine. this makes her LV 99 You fight her in the soul chamber again, only now she actually fights you, rather then just resetting. But mistbelief happens after about a dozen of dustfells... The player manages to kill sans while he is fighting papyrus, attacking him from behind, gaining the miserable 5LV from him and forcing Chara to leave. But Chara doesn't give up, she then transfers her essence into papyrus and resumes her massacre with a stronger vessel. After her massacre ends, papyrus is now LV 78 but because his base(LV1) attack and defense are nearly a hundred times higher than san's he's stronger than him Of course he still is beaten to low up before Chara steals your kill. And the end fight is similar. At least that's my version.
Well, Kinda, it makes Sans look way to Malovent. It implies he wouldn't care if he saw his Bro die continuously. Even Underfell Sans would Most definitely care if he saw his bro die over and over and over. Also Fell is Canonically 5 Atk and Def last I checked, Whimsum would be weakest [0 Atk and 2 Def]
