Even in cut song our boy is still the best!
There is actually another cut song that leads into this one called "ismarus" which i do recommend.. But keep in mind that this was really early on so some characters like Eury were pretty different and same goes for the story
Cant wait to see you continue this epic journey!

I love this song so much. I understand why it was cut - it doesn’t advance the plot, it just provides backstory and character insight, he managed to cover all the relevant info with Open Arms and Warrior of the Mind while also advancing the plot, and when you have the whole Odyssey to get through and only 40 songs to work with…. Sometimes you have to make hard choices.
But … man. I *really* love this one and am kind of sad it didn’t make it in. Might be my favorite of the cut songs.

Yes it was very beautiful and incredibly impactful after the Cyclops Saga. I think it probably was supposed to go in Troy Saga, but man, it hits different after Polites is gone. "I took the blow so you could live". . . omg my heart.

@@Obsidiana_99yeah, winions often try to get people to watch Your Light before the Cyclops Saga, but I hadn’t thought about how hard it hits *afterwards* with that line in particular!

@@liminalpsych I imagined Odysseus on the boat after the cyclops saga happened. Maybe sitting in the same spot. . . thinking about that particular memory of him and Polites. That's how it hit listening to it afterwards.
