Have been making avis on the side for over a year, never been a big enough problem to look into the reasoning. I always thought it was that the bounding box needed to be as close to the mesh as possible. Thanks for cleaning this up ;) Very simple, and importantly, quick video.
What I do for bounding box is 000 on center line and 111 on extent line, I do that on every props, hair, clothes, ... everything I can edit bounding box. Seem to work just fine
There is a tool which makes this even easier. Copy Bounding Box form Jessica92, then you can copy the bonding box of your body to all other objects in just a few clicks.
Does this work for your face and hair that may also disappear? When I crouch my friends see my face and hair disappear for them at certain angles. I'm looking for fixes to try them Sunday, but I noticed you focused on clothes and not body/face
Easy but tedious, so Ive been searching for tools before creating my own solution for this. I'm aware at least a remesh tool that will combine the bounds, but nothing yet that does this for all separate meshes.
@@dwuckiesvr I've already invented my own tools to do this now, at least a simple 2.5m cubed for all meshes tied to the avatar. Still working on to combine them for optimal rendering but, alas in VRchat not many creators care about that anyway lol.
@@dwuckiesvr The easies way is to just select multiple objects in the Hiracy. if you then change the bounding box on one while selected it will apply what you edited for all :D
video on how to edit a premade vrchat model from unity into blender? i have an issue when i export my edited fbx back into unity with pumpkin tools…. THE DYNAMIC BONEs just don’t copy…. is their a way to avoid that?
Was not what I was looking for but here we are fixing things we didn't know were wrong. Bless.
Thanks for the tutorial. For anyone not seeing the box adjusting when changing parameters, you need to uncheck "Update when Offscreen".
Short video, fast explanation, and no base boosted intro with seizure inducing flashing lights; exactly what I needed. Many thanks!
Great video. Been stressing over how to fix this stuff and honestly i had no clue it was this simple
Super glad to help!

Thank you for this video
Hey that solved one of my issues! Thank you!!
I can’t do my face mesh and body mesh can you help me

I've been also exploring creator tools, that'll make these tutorials easier. As for bounding box tools I have yet to see one.

@@Shadsterwolf would you be willing to share this tool, I thinking of creating my own but if you've already done it that would be a great help, thanks
