I’d argue that is a variant of money vigilant. I care about my money as a tool to bring me the lifestyle I want. I might downplay how much I have because I’m saving and planning for a future of freedom, not buying designer clothes.

Two lessons I've learned about money: 1) Money coming in and money going out must be in your advantage. If you spend more than you earn, you are in trouble. If you earn more than you spend, you are fine. 2) How do you allocate money? "Spend some, save some, give some" - D. Meyer.

I've had more than one job since I was 19, always lived below my means, saved as much money as possible, have paid off my credit card in full every month since I was 18 (I've had a credit score over 800 since I was 26), and use coupons/discounts. I love when I am able to treat myself and make big purchases in full like my Tesla that is coming in a few weeks. I love saving money and seeing it grow and thrive, like a plant 🌱.

I've gone through the different types of money patterns throughout my life:
-In my 20s and 30s I did "money avoidance" and "money status".
-Now In my 40s I'm more "money vigilant". And it's funny, I do downplay what money / Realestate I have. Not that it's a lot, but more than the average middle-class person.
In all phases of my life, I've always had *money worship* . Although I hate money.

But I can't help without it, and I know precisely why, although it reaches into the depth of your soul, crawling into your dark desires, it also challenges the mind to reach for their dreams and the satisfaction that comes with it. It's almost a discipline but a knife behind your back.

I have money fear. I hate thinking about it and I avoid doing that religiously. Never knew how much money I make beyond occasionally seeing a number on my bank account. I even have this sense that caring about money is 'a bit dirty'. I've had occasional financial problems as a result of that; things like not being to able to buy groceries because my debit card was maxed out, so I finally sit down and sent out some invoices - more often than not, ten or more of them, representing thousands of Euros. I was lucky that I had one or two customers who would then promptly pay so I only needed to live on stale bread and peanut butter for a week or so.
Can't explain it. I must have cost myself tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Euros as a result.

I would just advice you to consider it more and how you want your life to turn out, do you want it to be remembered? If so by whom? You have no kids so the only way to truly be remembered is by achieving a great humanitarian goal. Also this may seem insensitive but maybe consider seeking therapy, not directly for not wanting children just perhaps it may be beneficial.

This is a strange one for me. I love money for the possibilities it brings but also see it as a need. After going abroad for a year I and having big trouble in getting a job I realized the need of money since I could only afford some fruit or a vegetable, lost about 15 kg. So I guess I put it on a pedestal but with the mindset to grow and give to people who need it. Growing money has been a fun yourney, so far I like to invest in education by trying business ideas and learning from being able to fail. The concepts haven't always made money but the opportunity it brings is what I love about it and then knowing that food will be on the table is a big bonus.

I think money incurrages people to do evil but is not the root cause. A lot of evil is connected to money but there is more at play. It depends on the peoples capacity to show and feel empathy, their greet for power which is not always connected to money but being able to boss people around. The world revolves around money but in the end it's a tool and need to life. It's how people make money and spend money that makes it look evil, but I see it as a mirror of the personality of the person using or earning it.

So i've been travelling and working all around the earth for 4 years now. The problem with this way of life is the need to take some risks often, and the sensation of financial instability due to travelling, looking for jobs, ... BUT the thing of "getting out of the comfort zone" is always getting me proud and full of new experiences. Also, i have some advantages : I'm french, and a nurse = lots of french islands and territories, and work everywhere since covid. I even managed to spare 20k euros in those four years. But the richer I am, the more anxious I get. Weird

I am a teacher who has been studying education for years, and by extension, people's learning abilities, personalities, the effects of nature/nurture, and social-emotional wellness. There are some large inconsistencies with the content in this video with what the education science community has unveiled about people. The idea of 50% of DNA affecting one's personality is incorrect; trends have shown that our lived experiences largely dictate our behaviors, abilities, perceptions, and personality. Comically, people's lived experiences have NOTHING to do with who they are spending time with (parents vs peers according to this video). The reality is that everyone alive right now is experiencing their own consciousness as it maneuvers through a ever morphing social and isolated situations---we are always either learning or reinforcing these experiences depending on what emotions, thoughts, and routines we build up.

Thank you for this Pointer. It was easy to find your handler, She seems very proficient and flexible. I booked a call session with her.

    Aha.
Those "experts" want us to give THEM parts of our money to make US more "money-healthy"?
Or rather give them money to make THEM more "money healthy" (=wealthy)? ;-)
Come on, dear "experts". Just leave us alone.

Many wealthy people are money vigilant and money status at the same time.
Don't believe these people acting like wealthy people don't buy status symbols ALL THE TIME.

Money advice is math. Personality doesn't factor in if you're goal is the absolute fastest way to get out of debt and into wealth.

absolute fastest way usually involves extreme sacrifices. Only people with certain personalities will accept those sacrifices to get a chance at achieving extreme wealth. People with different personalities are want different things

@@Optimistas777 Well sure if you go to the extreme- but not drinking Starbucks every day, eating cheap easy to throw together meals every day, not spending money on cable are pretty easy sacrifices to make.

IMHO useless waist of words and time to listen to them. Money is a necessity for mitigation of our terrible and arrogant selfishness that result from our natural and social congenital defects and weaknesses.
So this video is just a speck that shines on just one angle of the whole Multigalaxy of conjunct problems.
