I doubt that it is the best boat, I think that you can kill the shark faster with the speedboat and frigate if you use it correctly.

in my opinion the speedboat should be the best boat for advanced player as it can be customized and it can outrun most sharks without boost and another thing it can be unflipped easily and can to island jump which is good for infection. for pro players I suggest frigrate warship as it has good speed, good durrabilaty and turret

id say from my personal experiences and gameplay tactics that the marlin, jetski and snowmobile are the best boats for those wanting to kill the shark on their own and the frigate sport yacht and combat boat for a more powerful team... but opinions may honestly vary between people

hover craft is underrated since it can hit like 136 with enough space to fit 6 seats and a turret and it’s very good at handling

It's capped at 130 studs. It's extremely consistent. I've easily outrun hammerheads using it.

Id say Marlin because its faster than all sharks except Mako and it might kill afk/noob sharks faster than Frigate if you use Bazooka because Turrets dont phase through its own boat's hull
Edit: A new boat called Wildfire now exists and is basically a mini faster, agiler, smaller version of Marlin so it might be the new best boat + it is easier to unflip than Marlin, only downside is its 2x the price of Marlin

Id say its combat boat. Becuase if u combine the spammable turret with rocket it does 115 per dmg i think. Its a guarantee win if the shark is normal or hammer

Frigate/yacht are in my experience easily the best boats, as long as you have max turrets and good placement.

I've equipped two dbarrels, polar laser and big laser on it and im making sharkfinsoup out of Great White, Hammerhead and Orca (since the nerf)

They're only good for maximum damage outputs. Their versatility outside of that is nonexistent. The marlin coupled with a harpoon gun could easily solo the shark as well, AND you have the option to just stall out the round by avoiding the shark utilising the superior speed.

While that is true, using that method is far less efficient for overall gameplay. With 130 SPS the Frigate and Yacht are capable of outrunning the majority of sharks as long as the driver is capable, and can kill it in less than 20 seconds on average resulting in far more teeth than if you use Marlin and Harpoon. While they can be caught by a decent shark, this is balanced out by the insane DPS. If the goal is to survive the round, Marlin wins. If the goal however is to progress in the game then Yacht and Frigate are more effective options.
