Choose your words and assess the situation. Momoland have struggled to be where they are today. It's not easy for them so be a little respectful. Not a true kpop stan!
I'm gonna assume you havent watched the whole video or you didnt hear what I said because I was extremely polite and respectful. At no point did I blame the girls nor did I put them down, on the contrary, I said that they deserve much better and that they are capable of so much more. If that does not resonate with you then that's on you. I know my intentions are good and I support the girls and their future.
In my opinion this would've been the perfect timing for the company to give them something different after the other 2 members left so the group could completely be "reborn" again in a sense. but I understand that maybe they didn't wanna take the risk during this period and wanted to wait for things to stabilize first. I said this before but I really really appreciate your honesty and the way you don't force that "OH I LOVE THIS SO MUCH THIS IS THE BEST" attitude about every single song out there, please keep being so genuine and honest
I completely agree! This is a missed opportunity to showcase something different. I could totally see them in a more fierce concept highlighting their vocals and raps ; the same way AOA did after loosing a few members for example. I think they might of just wanted to test the waters with the current lineup of girls to see if people accepted Momoland as they are now. Having 3 members absent is a big change so they probably didn't want to take a chance.
I think the members have potential to serve something different and better. I really like Jane's vocal, Hyebin (the girl who starts the song) is really interesting and other girls are good too. I wish Momoland would change the concept. I like them but the song is nothing new and boring for me. They deserve better.

Do they really? Best groups and bands you can recognise because of their signature style. Like with lot of great bands, you can hear the song for the first time but you can tell it's that band because of their specific sound. Momoland has their signature style and imo it's a good thing. Maybe, where all other groups go all over the place with their concepts, it's good to stick to your style.

Hyebin is a chamelion I swear. Yes, in Bboom Bboom she was the obligatory "tomboy that looks like Justin Beiber" that so many groups had to include. Since then she keeps changing her look and it always works great. I hadn't heard the thing about Miss A, I hope it doesn't hurt them because they had enough issues already...
Their concept is literally in their name. Momo = hope. Land = reference to amusement park (fun). They want to bring hope, fun, and happiness to the world. And I don't think they sound the same tbh? They're just upbeat, which isn't bad at all.
They dnt even need to change genres (coz they slay it), they just need to change the progression and reinvent it... Dreamcatcher is a good example of this, we always knw they will deliver "rock" but they change it up in some way every comeback... I hope mld implements this in the future Also, a comeback w/out yeonwoo is just..... *sigh

Edit 2: What makes people hate Momoland is the simple fact that the company always gives the same concept, music, rhythm, choreography and everything else ... they always try to disguise the same song by bringing elements from previous comebacks, the girls had a bad luck to debut at MLD just for that ... Joo And for example is not as happy and smiling as it was before ... I wish them a better opportunity

@Too Beautiful To Handle The company had given them a hiatus with no return date, they had pushed Daisy and Taeha in early 2019 (saying they were having personal and health problems) and then pushed Yeonwoo a while after the promotions. from "I'm So Hot". Yeonwoo will focus on her acting career at the company and Taeha will try her singing career at another company ...
momoland have so much potential & every single member can sing, but their company doesn't let them to try and experiment something new. this song was a disappointment to me to be honest, no hate to the girls, they deserve better.
Guys! Also remember that on their album on spotify, Thumbs Up has a remix version that gives the song an entirely different concept! It sounds amazing and westernized but still party/bouncy.
It's a shame that they always get stuck with the same formula for their title tracks. The thing is, they have awesome b sides, Fly and Curious are such good songs that show that they CAN in fact do different sounds.
Momoland producer doesnt need to change their music but they can improve and revise structures in their songs. But I gotta admit they have the catchiest chorus that makes you wanna dance like it's ur time to shine.
All momoland needs is a new format tbh their songs aren't horrible it's just that it's a literal cutter from their past comebacks. I hope this year they'll try something new❤️

And Miss A's time's up was produced by the same producer who produced thumbs up, so they can use it to sample it. thank you for reacting to it ❤

they keep doing the same concept bc of they made an EDM version of their song Wonderful Love, which struck momolands popularity. then they used similar style in Bboom Bboom, which sky rocketed Momolands popularity. so bc of the success of Bboom Bboom, they use those styles in their newer songs. at least that’s what i think correct me if i’m wrong🥴

They removed Daisy from the group after the dating scandal (which means she was dating someone.lol). Which is a shame because she gave the group some personality besides Jooe.
I like this song and i think its their style but a bit different from their earlier releases. One thing is that the shouted word and drop afterward needs to change. The sequence and composition of the song should be different.

It's cool and all, they look great and everything, BUT it could've been the start for something new 💕 I hope you all get what I mean, when I say, we use red and yellow for discounter stuff, but they are so much more. Hope their agency really do something different, too. They have so mich talent. That needs to be shown. 💕
Yeah, I love the prechorus - such a gorgeous melody and the vocals too! Plus in general I like the verses and rest of the song too. But the chorus is the same old trope and it kind of makes me like it less eventhough I love the rest of the song. Still good, but could've been a LOT better with a regular chorus that isn't that trumpet sort of thing they usually do. The rap too.. would be good if they changed up the rap style. But anyway.. other than the chorus and rap part, I do like the rest of the song and their styling is amazing when they're in the glam shots.
In my opinion, I don't really think right now was a great timing for a big change tho. Staying with this kind of sound, which work for them, is a great idea for now cause if they changed it and it wasn't successful at all it would've been hard for the girls I think knowing all the things they went through these past few months. They don't need it. They need something safe for now I think, I know it's frustrating, but the song is still a bop, the girls killed and I don't see any problem with them keeping the same concept. It's a new year, they want to be happy this year, they want kind of a new begining knowing there's only six of them left now so maybe in 2020 we will have something different. Ps : I really recommand people to go see their recent vlive, you will see how kind hearted these girls are, and how much people's words effected them this year. I think it is possible to enjoy music and yet ask for something new. The first example that comes to my mind is Twice, many people liked their songs but still were hoping for something different ^^
I look at it the same way as KARD used to always have a tropical sound until just recently. Can still be a fun listen. While I have no issues, I look forward to when they try something new.
Their vocal it's good but they deserve a more BETTER concept about lyrics, theme, instrument. Their agency really need explorations, maybe sometimes MLD can try to let them (member) to be in music produced/ process ? Like a.. be more and showing the member talent and creativity, maybe as a composer, lyrics writer, choreography, etc. I know you guys say it is their style of music, but when their in to this music/kpop industrial world.. sure they need to explore and make the new things (that a challenges to not bothered their image and character of their group). *my english it's not to good, so I'm sorry, that's my opinions ;)

I agree completely about their songs all sounding the same. And at first for this song I was like "..again?" Buuuuuut I'm now obsessed with it. xDD So yeah, I'm annoyed that it's the same but I still love the song a lot. Out of all the "same sounding songs" they have, this is one of the better ones. I absolutely did not like "I'm So Hot".
Yeah I think they wanted to play it safe this time around since 2 members left. finally an objective opinion video reaction! i agree, its not the girl fault, its on their management idk what they thinking, maybe they just dont care about netizen reaction they just want this song is a song that could be played on some club or whatever gosh... a sad fact that, why they didn't give an MV for their ballad songs, its the other great side of the girls that they are imo really great on. "Falling U", "Only One You", "Hug Me", "Curious", "Love Sick" ... they are great ballad songs of em. Why the label not give those good songs publication so everyone can enjoy another side of MOMOLAND. But this, this kinda song after and after like wtf, im sorry but the label su*ks.
I also wish they changed their concept, the trumpet sound was good maybe for I’m So Hot but it has become to the point where it starts getting boring and repetative. I really wish their company maybe let them write their own songs, maybe try producing themselves so each song wouldn’t be a literal copy of the last comeback every time. They have so much more to showcase and I’m a 100% sure they would be able to pull of a more girl crush sounding song, maybe a bit more rap, because this group has so many talents that they’ve not been able to show yet. Not to out myself as an old kpop stan, but I think the only group Momoland can be compared to is Orange Caramel. I think Momoland are also following the concept of bright and colorful MVs with a modern-ish take on trot songs. I kinda expect them to just play with the genre and it allows them to stand out since they're the only ones doing it. However, I'd love to see them try different sounds or at least change the structure of their title tracks... their b-sides show that they can do it well.

Personnellement j'apprécie leur concept parce que je sais que je ne vais pas être déçue et que je vais avoir une chanson qui plutôt joyeuse et amusante, mais d'un point du vue musical, elles sont dans le faux (évidemment que ce n'est pas leur faute, mais c'est elles qui font partie du groupe et qui le représentent alors je préfère dire "elles"). Garder le même type de sons ne va pas les aider à grandir en tant que groupe, et les fans (ou les non-fans aussi) vont finir par se lasser. Prenons Mamamoo par exemple. C'est un groupe qui change de style de chanson très souvent, et c'est sûr que certaines chansons ne vont pas plaire, que certaines vont être moins populaires, mais elles ont gagné beaucoup de fans grâce à ça, parce qu'on n'est jamais sûrs d'aimer ou de ne pas aimer. La diversité de leur musique c'est la clé. Quand j'entends que Mamamoo va faire un come-back, je vais obligatoirement aller checker leur nouveau MV, parce que je suis sûre d'avoir quelque chose de différent de leur précédent come-back. Momoland n'a pas de chance, leur agence ne veut pas prendre de risque, ne veut pas essayer quelque chose de nouveau, et elles ne peuvent pas gagner de nouveaux fans à cause de ça. Elles ne grandiront pas en tant que groupe si leur agence ne change pas tout

Idk if it's true but this seems like daisy isnt coming back, and mld productions doesnt want to make any announcement for daisy either. I Think MLD entertainment is selling Momoland short,they're too beautiful and too talented to be doing these kinds of concepts. Guys! Also remember that on their album on spotify, Thumbs Up has a remix version that gives the song an entirely different concept! It sounds amazing and westernized but still party/bouncy.
It's a shame that they always get stuck with the same formula for their title tracks. The thing is, they have awesome b sides, Fly and Curious are such good songs that show that they CAN in fact do different sounds.

I like this song and i think its their style but a bit different from their earlier releases. One thing is that the shouted word and drop afterward needs to change. The sequence and composition of the song should be different.

Yeah, I love the prechorus - such a gorgeous melody and the vocals too! Plus in general I like the verses and rest of the song too. But the chorus is the same old trope and it kind of makes me like it less eventhough I love the rest of the song. Still good, but could've been a LOT better with a regular chorus that isn't that trumpet sort of thing they usually do. The rap too.. would be good if they changed up the rap style. But anyway.. other than the chorus and rap part, I do like the rest of the song and their styling is amazing when they're in the glam shots.
In my opinion, I don't really think right now was a great timing for a big change tho. Staying with this kind of sound, which work for them, is a great idea for now cause if they changed it and it wasn't successful at all it would've been hard for the girls I think knowing all the things they went through these past few months. They don't need it. They need something safe for now I think, I know it's frustrating, but the song is still a bop, the girls killed and I don't see any problem with them keeping the same concept.
It's a new year, they want to be happy this year, they want kind of a new begining knowing there's only six of them left now so maybe in 2020 we will have something different.
Ps : I really recommand people to go see their recent vlive, you will see how kind hearted these girls are, and how much people's words effected them this year. Pleasepeople, be kind with Momoland in 2020.

Their vocal it's good but they deserve a more BETTER concept about lyrics, theme, instrument. Their agency really need explorations, maybe sometimes MLD can try to let them (member) to be in music produced/ process ? Like a.. be more and showing the member talent and creativity, maybe as a composer, lyrics writer, choreography, etc.

I agree completely about their songs all sounding the same. And at first for this song I was like "..again?" Buuuuuut I'm now obsessed with it. xDD So yeah, I'm annoyed that it's the same but I still love the song a lot. Out of all the "same sounding songs" they have, this is one of the better ones. finally an objective opinion video reaction! i agree, its not the girl fault, its on their management idk what they thinking, maybe they just dont care about netizen reaction they just want this song is a song that could be played on some club or whatever gosh... a sad fact that, why they didn't give an MV for their ballad songs, its the other great side of the girls that they are imo really great on. "Falling U", "Only One You", "Hug Me", "Curious", "Love Sick" ... they are great ballad songs of em. Why the label not give those good songs publication so everyone can enjoy another side of MOMOLAND. But this, this kinda song after and after like wtf, im sorry but the label su*ks.
I also wish they changed their concept, the trumpet sound was good maybe for I’m So Hot but it has become to the point where it starts getting boring and repetative. I really wish their company maybe let them write their own songs, maybe try producing themselves so each song wouldn’t be a literal copy of the last comeback every time. They have so much more to showcase and I’m a 100% sure they would be able to pull of a more girl crush sounding song, maybe a bit more rap, because this group has so many talents that they’ve not been able to show yet. At this point the highnotes in the songs starts sounding the same. Also you can see similarity in their music videos as well, though this was quite different and they all looked so amazing. For the next comeback I really hope they have at least a mini album with a bit more of a different concept and different sound, I am just a bit tired of this «newtro» concept, though at times it can be refreshing. Not to out myself as an old kpop stan, but I think the only group Momoland can be compared to is Orange Caramel. I think Momoland are also following the concept of bright and colorful MVs with a modern-ish take on trot songs. I kinda expect them to just play with the genre and it allows them to stand out since they're the only ones doing it. However, I'd love to see them try different sounds or at least change the structure of their title tracks... their b-sides show that they can do it well.

Personnellement j'apprécie leur concept parce que je sais que je ne vais pas être déçue et que je vais avoir une chanson qui plutôt joyeuse et amusante, mais d'un point du vue musical, elles sont dans le faux (évidemment que ce n'est pas leur faute, mais c'est elles qui font partie du groupe et qui le représentent alors je préfère dire "elles"). Garder le même type de sons ne va pas les aider à grandir en tant que groupe, et les fans (ou les non-fans aussi) vont finir par se lasser. Prenons Mamamoo par exemple. C'est un groupe qui change de style de chanson très souvent, et c'est sûr que certaines chansons ne vont pas plaire, que certaines vont être moins populaires, mais elles ont gagné beaucoup de fans grâce à ça, parce qu'on n'est jamais sûrs d'aimer ou de ne pas aimer. La diversité de leur musique c'est la clé. Quand j'entends que Mamamoo va faire un come-back, je vais obligatoirement aller checker leur nouveau MV, parce que je suis sûre d'avoir quelque chose de différent de leur précédent come-back. Momoland n'a pas de chance, leur agence ne veut pas prendre de risque, ne veut pas essayer quelque chose de nouveau, et elles ne peuvent pas gagner de nouveaux fans à cause de ça. Elles ne grandiront pas en tant que groupe si leur agence ne change pas tout

Idk if it's true but this seems like daisy isnt coming back, and mld productions doesnt want to make any announcement for daisy either.
